Here we go folks, Blizzard has released information about the newest patch coming out. Lots of discussion goin on in the WoW forums about this but you can read all the details here! Looks like some changes to mount level acquisition, class changes and some combat adjustments, to say the least.

June 28th hobby stores everywhere will host the Two-Headed Ogre Smash & Bash WoW TCG team tournament.

Two-Headed Ogre Sealed Pack—Each team will receive 8 booster packs from the March of the Legion block, from which they will need to construct two 30-card-minimum decks. Players may work together during deck construction and while playing their matches, meaning that this is a great opportunity to bring a friend along that’s new to the World of Warcraft TCG!

Prizes

Every player that attends the Two-Headed Ogre Smash & Bash will receive a code redeemable for a Fireworks Trinket that they can use on their favorite online character! After playing in the event, participants will be e-mailed the code that they can take to Blizzard’s Promotion Redemption site to redeem for their character.

 Both members of the duo that comes out on top when the dust settles will be able to show Azeroth their accomplishment with highly sought after Ogre Trinket that allows any online character to turn into an Ogre. Previously only available as one of the high-end items up for grabs on the UDE Points store, the Ogre Suit not only makes you look cool, but it allows you to do the Ogre dance!

Entries for the U.S. contest is $40, and you can find a participating store near you by using this nifty Upper Deck page!

Do you want to show off your skills to the world by participating in one of the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational contests? From Monday June 16th until June 20th, you can register to participate in the Dance and Costume contests that will take place at the Worldwide Invitational on June 28th. Just head over to the Contest Registration webform and let us know you'll be joining in! Also, if you would like to get advice or opinions on your costume, of if you simply want to show off your work in progress, don't hesitate to share your creation with the community in this thread.

Ever wanted the chance to get off your butt and REALLY explore Azeroth? Now you can! Or at least, you can surf/glide around it. German hackers have hacked the Wii Fit board to allow it to control your movement in WoW. It's not perfect, but it's pretty neat. Check out the video here.

For the first time, a PC-based MMO shared the floor with the other gaming tournaments at a Major League Gaming event. At MLG San Diego this weekend, team Frag Dominant claimed the first ever WoW tournament champion title. Congratulations!
