In your journal you recently have been talking about getting a porcelain pot and planting tree cuttings.
Do you know if you can actually do this or are you experimenting?
If it's doable, do you have to use a porcelain pot? (We almost never have porcelain pots up for sale in Windurst on Midgardsormr.)

I currently have tree cuttings planted in a brass pot. I fed the sapling a fire crystal, and so far it's growing well but quite slowly. I will post and let you know the outcome, and I would appreciate it if anyone else with similar experiences would do the same because I'm basically clueless
Any luck with this? I will be trying this out next Planting time around.

light/light gives platinum ores
Could you guys post what pots you are using to get these combinations? I believe the pot used has some effect on what you get, or at least how much of it you get.

I planted 3 tree cuttings, and gave it light crystals on lights day each time, and after about a week (real time) I got 4 rock salt from one, 6 rocksalt from the other, and 10 platinum nuggets from the last one.
I hope I didn't miss this is someone said it before, but i've found that if you plant tree cuttings on iceday in porcelain, brass, or earthen pots, and examine but not feed any crystals, then eventually (takes about 3 rl weeks i think) you can harvest tree saplings. You will get 1 sapling if you harvest around 50% lunar moon on anyday (ive tried all days except iceday) and 2 saplings if you harvest around the 90% lunar day. This is the information that I've personally tried, haven't tried to plant the cuttings for this result on any other day, so that data might be more expansive then just planting on iceday.

From 10 brass pots, 10 tree cuttings, feeding once on lightsday, planting on lightsday, harvesting on lightsday, i got 12saplings, 2stacks of brass nuggets, and 2gold beastcoins.
As for platinum nuggets, i find that Full lightsday feeding, planting, and harvesting works the best. Always double (and then some) the money spent on light crystals and cuttings each time. Also, one last thing. 10 saplings, 10 brass pots, planted on firesday, fed on iceday, fed on firesday, harvested on iceday, got 7 stacks of platinum leaves (20k a stack on seraph) and 1 ice ore (100k on seraph) so from 76k spent on saplings, i got 240k in return. Good growing for all ^^
