hmmmm well i ould take a wild guess to answer his question would be to do quests and kill stuff like all other MMOs ??? once again just a wild guess :)

I haven't tried out FFXIV yet, but if it's anything like FFXI, I think the money making system involves standing on one foot, sticking out your tongue and barking at the moon while clicking the craft button with the ring finger on your left hand, but only on alternate Sundays. Smiley: tongue

remember that if your attempts to create more gil fails, you WILL lose the crafting items, in this case: your foot, tongue, and possibly ring finger as well.
