Abyss Crystals in 3.2Follow

Just wanted to get the communities thoughts on this. My general idea is that the price for crystals are going to drop a week or two after 3.2 hits. My thoughts behind this are that geared people who do not need drops from heroics are going to start running them just for conquest badges with chanters de'ing the epics at the end. You will probably also see groups forming for naxx that will be the old "pro groups only all drops will be sharded on sight".

With more people running heroics and naxx just for badges, I am thinking that more enchanting mats are going to hit the market (specifically crystals). The one variable is how many people will need crystals to enchant new items bought from conquest badges. I still do not believe that there will be enough of an extra demand for the crystals then the supply that will probably pop up.

All this seems to point to a very great time to start dumping cyrstals from personal and guild stashes. What do you all think?

I just wish PvP gear was DE-able. I'd be somewhere besides honor cap, like I've been for the last 3 months. Even if they limited it to like 2-3 items a week...

I doubt we'll see a big influx on crystals after 3.2 hits. I myself invested in enchanting matts right before 3.1 and I made a handsome profit.

As for people running Naxx and the such to get emblems of conquest, it may happen, but if it does, I doubt it'll last much more than a week or two maximum.

New raid instance = new loot upgrades across the board. I will be investing in matts again, hopefully it'll be a good gamble again.

I tend to think that people have already been at the level cap long enough that the price for abyss crystals has mostly stabilized and until a higher tier of enchants come out with a new type set of mats the price will hover at about what it is.

The price may dip a bit initially, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it rise up above what it was pre-patch for a short period at some point after the initial drop. After all, nearly every new weapon that gets equipped gets enchanted with 6-10 crystals and a lot of those pro groups will be giving out drops for off spec rolls. Dual spec made it a lot more practical to give your tanks or healers dps gear and vice versa.
