Got into enchanting to make weapons glow.

I know the following:
Beastslaying = Red Glow
Demonslaying = Flame on the blade
Striking = Glowing Blue

Anyone else know any weapon enchants that result in a glow?

I have Lesser Striking enchant on both my weaps and they don't glow blue. Can you inform us of exactly which recipe you used to get the blue glow?

Lesser Impact is a blue glow

Also the 7+ DMG spell (can't remember name offhand) is a verrrry bright blue/white glow.

Was wondering what the difference was between Impact and Striking? Is one just 2h weapons?

Yes.

Striking = 1h weapons. Impact = 2h weapons.

Although, you can put a striking enchantment on a 2h weapon (it would be a waste, but you could).

I'm pretty sure you won't get blue glow unless your enchant puts on +3 or more damage. The more your + damage enchant is, the brighter the glow. That's why Lesser striking (at only +2 damage) results in no glow.

Fiery Weapon Enchant does err... a fiery weapon effect :)

I'm not sure which is blue or which is white,
I have enchanted +3 damage on my 2h and it has a white glow. Is there a diff enchant for the blue glow?

Also, the very cheap ingedients +2 beastslaying enchant gives red glow, so if you just want the red glow, no need for going +6 with a large shard ingredient.

I've also heard a +3 or higher stat boost on a weapon makes it glow green.

The +7 Attack I have on my 2h is actually a very low bright. The +5's Ive seen are brighter than the one I have.

Minor beastslaying +2, for certain, places a dim red aura around the enchanted weapon.

could anyone tell me how they found the formula for minor beastslaying? i looked at the alla and thottbot info for it and it looks like my best bet (for level 22) is getting some friends and trying to find large battered chests in deadmines, but even then the drop rate doesn't look to be very spectacular. i've been watching AH but have yet to see one =( is it perhaps at a vendor that just isn't listed? did it drop from a particular mob for you? any help at all would be appreciated ^^

Not true.

I just did a 2h Lesser Intellect enchantment for a guildmate this past Saturday. No glow.

I've gotten 6 of them with various characters. One off a vulture in Westfall, another off a defias something-or-other (one of the quest mobs so looter, pillager, pathstalker, highwayman, something like that), a boar in Westfall, a murloc hunter in westfall, bear in Darkshore, and a bear in loch modan (on the way to Bingles, if that helps any). Seems to be a random drop within a particular level range.
