So...I was afk all day as usual...but when I get home I see that I was in a different zone...it looked like liked the ruins near Windy...I ask myself, ok wtf how'd I get here.

On my screen it says Disconnected from server...ok I DC. I try to log back in and I get a message saying I can't log in from that POL ID...then I remember before leaving I put something in my search comment that might offend someone >.>;;

Yep...I took my first trip to Mordian Gaol (sp) BUT I WAS AFK! Anyone know a way I can get back or are my FFXI days over? =[

Because people report you for some of the dumbest reasons. I do know a few gay people who are offended when you use gay in any type of derogatory ways.. Some people are, some aren't.It's just how they are.

That's simply why I never put any type of derogatory things in any comment, bazaar or otherwise.. Keeps me out of GM business.. Though I've humped one. :D

Using "gay" in the pejorative sense is HIGHLY offensive to me; it takes a cultural identity and turns it into something very negative. As that wiki article pointed out, to me it's exactly the same as epithets used to describe women (c-word), black people (n-word), other races, etc.

But this was debated ad naseum in the fall of 2005 (http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=56;mid=1126189723287126137;num=122;page=1), and I'm really not going to into it again. My friends know I find it offensive, and avoid using it in the context.

I think before I act, and I understand by what I say some people will be offended, but whatever can't please everyone. People these days are ridiculous, they **** and moan, cry and complain about everything. When they don't get their way, or when someone hurts their precious feelings it's never their fault, it's always flipped and twisted to be a hate crime, or a racist issue anymore. Everyone is becoming entirely too sensitive, don't call someone gay because that hurts their feelings. Have some gay pride and stfu.
