Do not do a KSNM with GilderFollow

#1 May 11 2007 at 11:20 AM Rating: Default
Not long ago I started a KSNM party for "Copycat" with 5 other players, including a player called Gilder. We all agreed beforehand, himself included, that every drop worth more than 100k would be split between all members. During the KSNM he got the Destroyers he was after, and we got 4 Fuma Sune-Ate drops. Afterwards as each Fuma sold, he happily took his shares of each one. His Fuma drop was the last to sell, and he kept the gil for himself, refusing to respond to any tells from anyone who was at the KSNM. After attempting to contact him many times over the course of a week it became obvious that he had every intent of stealing not only the gil from his drop but also equal shares of the gil from every other drop.

It's not a substantial amount of gil that he stole, but I want to make it known that this player cannot be trusted.

While it sucks, and I'm sorry for your loss/experience, this is one reason why I do NOT do any type of BC with a pick up crew.. LS members and friends only.

yeah and if youre going to do it with a pickup group at least make it your orv your drop (sure you might get crappy drops or lose on your orb but its better than repeating what just happened)

If it's "your orb, your drop", make sure you get lead and QM. That is the only thing that will save you from a Ninja Loot.

Aw, I've known Gilder for a bit. He doesn't seem like the kind of person to do that. Maybe he was afk all week? Sometimes I myself stay loged in afk for long periods of time.

Anyway...there's always two sides to the story. Lets see what he has to say. If he even reads these forums that is.

What does Gilder camping a nm have to do with this? I'm sorry but I honestly don't see a connection.

As you wrote above Lonethief, I was just pointing out that each day I was out farming ect I would see him doing the same.
