Dynamis - Bastok: Sunday, January 14th, 2007 @ 5pm ESTFollow

#1 Jan 07 2007 at 8:16 PM Rating: Decent

It's a new year and therefore we're starting a new run on the city Dynamis areas.

We will begin with Bastok on Sunday, January 14th, 2007 and work our way through each city for four weeks. After that we will head to the Northland for Beaucedine and Xarcabard (where we will attempt a win).

If you are looking for a reliable, fairly successful Dynamis linkshell then this is the place for you.

Anyone who is level 65 or higher and has completed at least rank 6 in a city can attend Dynamis. If you are interested please meet at the trail markings otuside Bastok Mines' mog house at 5pm EST and look for people with the yellow LionsPride pearls on. Yell until someone gives you a pearl.

Please remember that our runs are very popular and usually fill up to the 64 person limit quite quickly - so be early. Make sure you are wearing your linkshell pearl at 5pm EST. Please do not go AFK after 5:30pm EST.

If you are a new RDM or BRD please speak to Darencosbyybsoc or Kactuar about your duties in Dynamis before we enter. RDMs and BRDs are also required to set up parties on their own before entering.

I believe Soulfire has a comprehensive list of their Dynamis rules (including lotting) on their website, but I have no idea if they are up-to-date or not.

The rules are on our website, but they're bloody complicated and even though I wrote most of them I can't understand all of them!

Basically it boils down to this: you will be @3 until you earn a total of 9 points, then you get bumped up to @1 on one job. @2 is for secondary jobs. You can lot @1 while you are positive points. Drops cost 15 points for cities, 20 points for Northlands.

When you are @3 you have to wait until all the @1 and @2 people have gotten their drops during that run for that job. Sometimes you luck out and there are no claims @1 and @2. Sometimes there are 20.

You earn 1 point for entering a run, 1 point for staying until the leader calls the end, and 1 point for a win. We always win cities.
