I recently made a comeback to the game after a long break, and the game is somewhat boring since alot of people left the game. I am looking for a LS to run around with, do missions (CoP,ZM,etc.). I just wanna kill stuff! The most important thing im looking for in a LS is one that stresses RL > FFXI. Any linkshells out there that fit this description?
Forgot to mention that i'm on Hawaii time, so yeah the time difference sucks!

Looking for a LSFollow
Fable Unity is a large social linkshell that has pretty much an open membership policy. We don't judge people based on their past; everyone can come in and get a fresh start. In return, all we ask is that you keep an open mind and leave your preconceptions about what an LS "should be" (as well as any past problems with other linkshells or their members) behind you while you are in Fable Unity.
We are levels 1-75, have a lot of members that play at various times. At any given time we may have only a few members online, or upwards of 20-30 (usually during N.A. prime time or weekends). We do have a few late nighters, so that may fit your Hawaii play time. We do have members from all over the world, and many of our members belong to HNMLSes or other social LSes as well. We have no rules about how much or how often you have to be in the shell; everyone is free to come and go as they please. That's why you'll often see new faces from time to time, even though they have been with us a while.

Well I'm on Hawaii time also, but most of the late nighters are away cause of PSU, Gears of War and FF12 so its been slow.

Actually, that's not entirely true, Rev. But this thread isn't about FableUnity policy, it's just about offering someone some basic information about an LS that they may or may not find suits their goals and play style.

Erm, newsflash. LOTS of people hit 75 before me. Rather than picking on me for not rushing to 75, maybe you should be making fun of the people who STILL couldn't beat my sluggish pace? :D
Actually, it's only like a bar for some people. The difference between FU and most linkshells is that no one says "if you come here, you HAVE to do this." It has the facilities and the people to accomplish just about any task...but it doesn't force the members to use them. Those that do get what they want. Those that don't get their beer, leave, them come back for some more beer later :D

You're right, a lot of people have left the game. I was amazed the other day looking at my friends list; the people who no longer play vastly outnumber those that do. I know, I know...what else can you expect after almost 4 years? Still, you can't help but get a little choked up looking back at some of those old names and remembering the great times you had.
I think that's why, more than ever, it's important to find a linkshell that lets you be who you are. Most importantly, you still shouldn't be afraid to say how you really feel. That doesn't give you cart blanche to tear into people (no one really needs to hear personal attacks in the lschat, imo), but you should at least be given the chance to try things until you find out what really makes you happy. Life is really too short; before you know it, the people you meant to say something to will end up on the "Offline" list for good.
