Why don't we entry and play a ballista??
N/A player used to appear in ballista :/
It's only in the last few years I realize what fun playing is.

Aye, ballista is fun, but there is little interest in it I'm afraid. Most of the matches I go to get cancelled pretty fast. ; ;
Maybe its just the random chance this server isn't into that kind of FFXI gameplay? Aren't the Ballista Champs for both NA and JP from Siren server?

Alot of the NA's that I have talked to about Ballista don't like PvP.. at all. JP still play in regular Ballista regularly, but lately alot more matches have been getting cancelled.
Thanks to the introduction of Brenner and Diorama-Ballista (yea that one), there is no need for the people who do enjoy ballista to try to make the regular matches. Not to mention, there is a TON of content in this game and ballista is not usually anywhere near the top 20 things to do. There probably needs to be a bigger incentive to get more ppl interested in it.
If you want to do a ballista, the best way I have found is to reserve a time slot in one of the ones you set up and recruit people from your LS or shout prior to the start of the match.
Edit: Forgot to add that alot of people don't know what time and level ballista is. Many still don't even know about the ballista announcement earring either (the name escapes me).

Only time I ever get to ballista is early mornings. A jp ballista ls named TenchuBALLISTA does Diorama 60cap early every Sunday morning, just ask someone for a paper. I had a friend that spoke english and japanese let me join, the ls leader even gave me a perl too bad i never understood the lsmes so i ended up dropping it.
While on the topic, why not start a Na Ballista ls? Maybe this way we all know there are other fans out there and don't go "Oh another match, i shouldn't even bother going no one ever does" Maybe everyime a match is going to start and you're interested in going equip the pearl so people know if the match is getting cancelled or not? Just an idea i'm interested in following up on depending the feed back from here.
