Yeah so I've been here camping Leaping Lizzy for a few hours. All the other Campers keep killing Rock Lizards. This annoying 51+ Taru keeps sending me stupid teles. "Where are you from?" Bastok was my reply. There's Twin Anon Galkas with same titles....Fishy no? a 70MNK from my LS is helping me and he didn't know what LL was at first. He thought LL dropped Leaping boots and didn't know they changed to bounding boots. I think he bought is account. Oh yeah, and Eating The spiciest Wings at Quaker State and Lube (famous for their delicious wings) wasn't the best decision of my day yesterday ><
EDIT: All right! Three pops in the last couple hours. one of those three pops was a drop. One of the pops was a claim for me. And you guessed it! I didn't get the drop. The first pop didn't get a drop. I was still camping with the 70mnk. I go afk for 10 seconds. In those 10 seconds it spawns. bah! The 2nd pop wasn't too cool either. So I'm talkin to this guy about ws tricks, when I start to mess around and cast some BLU spells on myself. 2hr'ed and all that fun stuff. She spawned and the cool cat I was talkin to got drop >< Wish me luck as I sit here for another hour or two.

I hate that d*mn lizard. But after 5 days of camping it, at least i got my boots! So thank you for casting spells when she spawned...lol. Hope you had some luck after I left. The ws trick -does- work!
lol yeah, thanks for replying to my lame thread ><. lol Before I went to work today LL spawned four times in 2 hours. got claim 2/4 times. no spawns. well see you later. I'll camp more tomorrow.

Even sadder, I went and got my Empress Hairpin on the first try today...lol.

I want to rip that damn lizard's head off and stick it on a pig poll. I tried camping him in the past but had nothing but failure with my theif. The lizard can go to hell.
haha I'm with you. I'm 0/7 on that bad boy. It's become quite easier to camp her now that I know the ph trick. ^^

I did the widescan trick... only one place holder. Once I started using that strategy, I had the boots in no time. Just remember to time the placeholder spawn for every five minutes and one of those pops will be LL. Works everytime, although I did find that the placeholder did not spawn at 5 mins to the second. Probably due to widescan lag, sometimes it would be as long as 5 to 10 seconds to show up. Anyway, VE works exactly the same. Very easy. Got my hairpin on the third kill. More people camped VE though so I resorted to being a jerk by kiting the placeholder to the cave and killing it there. This way others couldn't set their timers when I killed the placeholder. They could get a relative time, but not an exact time and after a few times of that... they would lose track and leave. I'm glad to be done with both of them.
I know this is an old thread but for people looking at it for LL info I have this to add. Get someone with TH2 to help you camp it. I used my THF to camp this and went 1/1. TH2 also helps with VE. I got my Empress Hairpin and a friends with TH2 and am 2/2 on that drop. Hope this helps. Cya
Thanks for the help. I'll see if I can drag one of my higher level THF friends to help me out with it. Nah I didn't leave Hagen....I've just been playing Metal Gear Online the past two weeks. It's some pure pwnage for ya. I'll be back on for the weekend maybe.
returning to the game some time next week. will be 23thf/rng, all my items are gone so I gotta camp this biotch again. word of advice, if you want LL, take next week off :)
