When did this change so much. I've been seeing beastmen @ level 1. So, I figure I'll look again in 2-3 hours and then go kick some butt. I check back, and its already over and they have a bunch of new prisoners.
Last night I walked in while Mamool Ja were at lvl 3 and they were attacking. I promptly get killed and come back as RDM. We barely keep them from killing all the generals. Then I see trolls at lvl 1, and figure they will attack at lvl 3. I wait over an hour. They are at lvl 3, but not even advancing yet.
It used to be that they always advanced at lvl 5. Is there any way to determine when they are going to attack now?

It restarts after we lose, the first attack after we lost was at 100 next was 110 then 120 etc. I'm sure it'll cap at 150 again.
For the record, what day did Shiva lose? I'm trying to get data for the FFXI wiki on that and I was informed Shiva lost to the Trolls sometime between the 14th through 16th. Can anyone remember if it was last Wed (14th), Thurs (15th), or Friday (16th)?

The bad thing is that we have come close to losing so many other times since people got used to them attacking at 5. Last night there were only about 300 people fighting mamool ja instead of the normla 500+

I dont remember the day we lost but we did in the last week. I was there and we only had like 305 ppl and it was around like 3pm-ish. We were down to 4 generals when it started. I figured we would only lose like only 2 more but they all died. I was inside the room were the crystal was when they took it. ALmost all the trolls were there.. It was very hard to fight them off once they were all inside. I think they also took 19-21 prisoners that day. lol

Simple... Don't show up to Besieged. I'm sorry but its a fad that just won't go away... Sure I hate it as do you. But does that mean we should be forced to not say it? You're telling over 1000 people to go to besieged and be quiet? I doubt that will happen.
As I've said to someone before. Its all in good fun. Its annoying yes, but its annoyingly funny and gets all the server involved. Its a togetherness that makes us a strong group.
If you don't like it, theres other areas to go to where theres peace and quiet. I hear Carpenters Landing is quiet as a tomb as of late.

i dont care if they yawn... but doing when you lost horribly is stupid.. theres absolutely nothing to be proud off from losing lol.
Seriously? We lost again? Wow......
since teh first lose weve come close to losing lvl 1 beseigede due to not enough people? well first off you dont NEED people for a lvl 1 beseiged.. if you can think back to our first few beseiged when all we had was lvl 1s and 2s we had so many people that the besieged would be over before 80 PERCENT!! of us even seen a mob pop on our screen thus using that fact as ammo you shouldnt need more than 200-300 people for a low lvl beseuged.
Secondly like i said in the past once we lose our first beseiged no one will care anymore. Thus i was right thus the reasons weve come close to losing the ones after we lost teh first one. I mean at first it was the "thirll" of trying to make teh streak as high as possible to compare ourselves to other servers now that we lost once why bother? Beseiged takes 30mins and you get 700 exp.. now if youre exp is capped. that doesnt help you.. and exp pt can obtain well over 700 exp in 30mins and as for the imperial standing you get... exp in aht urghan areas (like everyone seems to do). That bein said theres no real thrill in doin beseged anymoer thus the lack of participation since the loss. maybe thatll change when they "upadte" beseiged
