I wouldn't normally post anything like this on alla, but I know a lot of you guys were here when FU was in its infancy. We've never had to make a recruitment thread, never had to /shout in Jeuno. Yet somehow we've ended up with a good chunk of the Shiva server having an FU pearl on them.
365 days of 1s alongside 75s, good guys alongside asshats, and 365 days of telling Shiva, FU! Thanks to all of you (FU and non-FU) who have helped this to happen. Whether it was giving advice, helping our members, co-sponsoring events, or just sending people our way...

We're actually doing some stuff to get people to invest some "gil" with their fellow members(it's an FU-term, so anyone who's been here knows what it means). But don't don't be surprised if we host an MPK Barchiel/Femwhispers event!

You know, I think you guys inadvertently gave me an idea for the next major FU event, a la "Fairies of Vana'diel." For those of you who remember, back then we sent FU members around the world to "expose" the evil Fairies who were hiding amongst us as normal players. They had to trick players into using Pappillons, which would give them pretty little butterfly wings if they were, in fact, a fairy.
Then we snapped pictures of them and held them for ransom ;). If memory serves me right, we had pics of all the NA HNMLS leaders at the time, and some well-know/notorious players as well.

True poki, but we've always been pro-active in our recruitment; we try to invite members individually, rather than making them feel like they need to come to us. We still get a lot of people coming to us though, which feels GREAT! Still, we'd rather add members than just hand out pearls ;)
