What's up Shiva? Long time, no see...

As some of you know, I left FFXI for WoW. It was fun and fresh at first, but as I leveled up it kinda fell flat, and the people sucked. Now I'm sick of it, and I thought about returning to FFXI.

First, I'd like to give a shout out to all the friends I remember fondly.

Anyway, so how is the world of Vana'diel nowadays? I heard there's been a lot of changes since I've been gone. Especially with the new expansion and all.

Is it true that nobody hangs out in Jeuno anymore? I read somewhere everyone gathers in some place called Whitegate now. The new classes seem pretty cool, especially puppetmaster.

Also, what's the status on Beastmaster? Can it still solo, or is it a party class now?

Has their been any big time drama since I've been gone? I heard that IGE bought out alla a while ago. That sucks, but from what I can tell they're starting to get a foothold on all the gaming info sites.

I went to browse KI too and found some interesting things. What's the deal with this one girl named Rushpuppy? I also noticed that Omfg is back to his old tricks. What did he do this time? lol, that fuggin guy.

Hey Payne, if you're reading this, do you remember that guy posting on KI earlier today named I.G.E? The one telling Omfg he missed his delivery? Yeah, that was me messin around, lmao! The KI mods banned it real quick. I was laughing my **** off.

What's the deal with Carillo? Does SE sanction gay marriage now?

What's up with that one dude, Galbar? Wasn't he the leader of AurorasDawn or something? I remember I got into it with his LS a while back. Oh boy, those were some days. Did he pull a Riccochet or something? I heard that Rico ran off with a LS bank and an Osode. Talk about scandalous.

My favorie FFXI website retired too. R.I.P BismarckBitchList :(

Anyway, I plan to call Playonline sometime tomorrow to see if I can get my account back, along with my character. I never deleted my old character, I just had the account canceled. I still have the POL ID number. The only thing they would have to change, if they're able to retrieve it, is my CC number(My old card one was worn out from swiping). It's doubtfull, but I'll give it a shot. I don't know if I want to start all over again. I just landed a new career that's gonna take a lot of my time next month. So I'm hoping I can just take off from where I left off. If it pans out, I'm hoping to get into the new expansion and all the new content.

I don't think I would want to join an HNMLS again. Wasp and HoCD were great linkshells. I appreciate what they both did for me, and they're both great LSs. But, I wasn't feelin the whole HNM schedule thing, ya know? If anything, I might join a mission/quest LS to explore the story content. Better yet, I could hook back up with Windurst Cavalry.


Well, I think I've prattled on enough. I hope everyone is doing ok.

Oh yeah, if anyone knows Midnyght(I think he's in UchiaClan, or whatever it's called), tell him to call my house. I got a new cell and we've got catching up to do, lol. A lot of interesting things have transpired in the last few months, haha.

P.S. Agirlyman, do you still make those movies? lol

Everyone from KI doesnt really post here, but i got a heads up from someone :o I cnt believe you left and didnt even tell meeeeee :P Anyways, Jeuno is significantly emptier than before, because of the new expansion city, Aht Urgan Whitegate.. It's got a MH, AH (connected to Jeuno) and a little guy that warps you to Jeuno for free :o So it's the new hang out spot :)
I havent been on much myself, getting a little bored with it. I play WoW often >_>; and that does get boring too, but my RL friends play so i stick with it :)
As for beastmaster, i dont know, i think that they can still solo, after the 'nerf' they made some changes but im not exactly sure what happened since i was never really a fan of the job anyway.
MPKing has seriously been fixed which can be good and bad, some changes have made it more difficult for PLing and such. Puppetmaster is a cool job, but everyone is goign for Blue Mage, which I'm not too interested in.. But puppetmaster is beginning to get stereotyped like Dragoon did. No one knows what they are capable of yet. The little guys (Automatons) are rather cute and can be customized so it's something im interested in too, but everyone went expansion crazy so i havent really leveled it yet.

Well, i think that's all i can remember for now :)

Just bought Aht Urhgan. The guy at the game store said SE doesnt really delete characters from cancelled accounts until about a year or so. Got my fingers crossed

UPDATE:

I just got into Playonline and reactivated my content IDs. I suppose I'll be able to play Taku again.

yeah, I've noticed that a lot of people quit FFXI to play WoW, then quit and come back. I guess they're just so used to how FFXI is, WoW just get's boring. Reguardless welcome back and glad to hear you got your old character back. Starting from scratch after getting to 75 would be pretty rough.

Lol Taku. They *Always* come back. Anyways w/b to the server. What WoW server were you on?
