I have a scenario for you and you tell me what i actually HAD to do.

Lets say I go down to the lower lvl of garlaige citadel (where serket spawns) No one is in the area but meh so I start killing off chamber beetles for whatever reason (lets say skill ups) Now after about 30mins or so of me doing this an exp party shows up and ask me to leave/stop killing mobs because theyre trying to lvl. Now me being in a rare generous mood I do so. Howveer my question is did i HAVE too? Seeing as i was there first plus if youre skilling up weapons youre kills are pretty slow so if you taking 5-10mins to kill one mob is intereferring with a parties exp they need serious help.

Also usually if another exp party comes in and start camping on top of your current party then party that is camping on you usually has to leave because you and your party were there first so if that rule applies for two exp parties does it also apply for someone skilling up there first and another party decides to show up I mean Id think I was here first so if you have a problem with that you can either deal with it or leave? If not why?

I suggest you do whatever you damn well please. You may get a reputation for it though.

I would stay if I went there to skill up, and find a beter skill up somewhere alse next time to avoid exp parties.

There is plenty room in our virtual world, learn to share.

Just tell then you don't speak English or somthing....

nope you were there first. and contrary to popular belief there isnt only one place to exp for every set of levels. there is an entire world out there that people dont use when exping. just because everyone always goes dunes >> qufim >> jungles >> garlaige >> CN >> etc isnt your fault. i say if you dont wanna leave.... dont.

I think I know where this is going.... but I think I need to address it now, cause its getting out of hand..... Caedarva Mire.

We all love it... We all love the roam pts and the imps and such. And they're being very nice to the noobs who still need the Puppetmaster and Corsair quests done.... But really, does there need to be 10 parties at the same camp + that one ninja who solos em on a daily basis? Isn't there any etiquette in that? It seems Caedarva Mire nowadays is looking like an hnm camp and the imps are getting targeted. Next thing you know, the place is gonna get botted -.- but I won't start that conversation up. Thats a different subject.

People, theres other places to get imperial standing. I just won't say where ^.-

It makes sense that you shouldn't have to move to other mobs, because you were there first. But think about this, your "camp" is basically a roaming one, not requiring an area to accomidate a group of 6 people. Also, how easy is it to move a party to another location as opposed to someone who can solo the mobs in the first place?

By no means am I saying that you have to leave mobs alive for the sake of a party deciding to take up camp nearby, just that you have more options as far as where to hunt mobs for, as you said, skill ups.

plus like i said in my first post even if i was roaming around killing every mob in sight you gott athink of kill speed. chances are im using underlvled weapons so if killing alot less slower than i normally would. So even if there is a party there im theyre killing 3+ mobs in the time i take to kill one so why complain? lol

I agree with you Marleau. But if I'm skilling up, I don't wanna hurt someone else's XP. If the place has a lot of mobs, have at it though.

Cadaerva Mire doesnt, but still theres gonna be someone thats going to want to skillup a weapon or something or even that one person who prefers to solo exp out there (theres one ninja who solos out there from time to time), so if anything this should also apply to them. The mobs are so few and theres like 10-15 pts at a time going at each others throats.... Adding that one soloer into the mix makes the pts get even angrier about things and chaos erupts, creating Caedarva Mire into a KB camp, of course using that camp as a symbol of the imps in Caedarva.

Bhaflau Thickets was the same way last weekend. About 60 people were in that one exp area.... we all should know where it is by now. But come on... Try other zones out... Aydeewa Subterrane for example... No one ever exps there.

SE seriously needs to make more accessible places for imperial standing exp or something cause this is seriously getting out of hand. Not to mention theres about 3 or so other areas that are decent exp spots. I just wont say where lol

look you don't have have to move, but generally if I am skilling up a weapon, i will try to go to a place where xp parties don't normally go. why? cause I know I don't like it when people skill up on mobs I am xping on and i wouldn't want to effect their XP. I wouldn't be a **** about it, but i would ask you nicely if you could find some place new.

lets say your lvl 48ish party and 1 person doesn't have the altepa crystal and CN is packed house but citidel is empty... you know damn well you would be annoyed if somone was down there skilling up on all your xp mobs.

also just a thought that would cross my mind... if your high enough to solo mobs there for skill ups then why aren't you in a skill up party at kuftal tunnel or the tree or at least party helping someone get a coffer key?

So I guess that means Duomaxwellxx is really Marleau? Especially since Duomaxwellxx responded to Barchiel's post. Thats pretty interesting.

Anyway, about your original post Marleau.

No you shouldn't HAVE to leave. Whether you were there or not it really doesn't matter. If a mob is yellow then by all means its fair game to kill it. Many people solo farm Beastmen Seals this way as well at level 75. Usually alot of the easy to kill EP mobs are in very common xp spots. Helm beetle in Crawlers Nest is one. Robber Crabs in Kuftal Tunnel is another. Both are very common xp camps.

Kalten forgive me for the misconception.... I thought I was on MY account but Hiei's account was activated -.- God I hate it when he puts it to memory. I always tend to do that. Meh, I digress.

When it comes to the usual EP camps, I can totally understand why one would be mad. I certainly wouldn't solo exp mobs when other parties are around. If Im in Kuftal Tunnel, I pull crabs from huge aggro areas where crabs wouldnt normally be pulled to the zone to solo.

But due to imperial standing being more important nowadays, well.... I know some people dont want to camp in areas where Imperial Standing isnt active, so what is one to do to level merits and get imperial standing if other people take the camps by soloing mobs for beastmen's seals?

Thats what I'm trying to state. These soloers as well as those 10-12 parties seriously need to give one another some space.
