i feel a lot of love in this thread... people need to calm down some. i think SE should automatically freeze your account if you get like 100 hours playtime in a month or something. i think that people not making FF there life would improve the overall game.

You pretty much stated the what the problem is. People have mistaken their ongame achievements as real life achievements. Maybe they are good on FFXI but are suck-*** n00bs in real life. Take the blue pill sometimes...

Xyloss I'm sure you know so much about HNM LS's. Considering you're not even 75 and in an LS that is of a "Anti-HNM" mindset, at least.
The HNM LS's on Shiva play this, or do their best to, as a community game. We have one of the better end-game situations in FFXI. We have some issues like smaller LS's botting or a steal here or there, but it's nothing like other servers. Not all HNM LS's are greedy, blah blah blah, you won't listen cause you just want to hate 'the man' I'm sure. Have a nice day.

So um Lady...he's lv 74 one lv away from 75. Is that honestly that much of a gap? Anyway why are you using lv as an argument? Usually when people use lv as an argument it's because they have no real arguments to argue with.

its simple. being lvl 74 means you have never been 75. which in turn means you have not been playing for the years and years lady (and others like him) have been playing. which also means you have experienced little to nothing in the HNM scene compared to players who have double digit merit points and have camped every HNM and fought every force popped monster ~40 times each.
i have noticed that there is a new generation of high lvls coming in and a majority of them are running at the mouth a lot even when theyre still "newbs" to the majority of us who have been around. its like when you were in high school as a senior and the freshmen walked around with their chests puffed out like they were hardasses. they were wrong then and these players are wrong now.

I was in hnmls I did'nt find it a good use of my time, thats it. period. Our LS is not a "HNMLS Hater club", we just dont do HNM's. You starting a fuss saying we are makes no sense. I suppose its a good thing that you figured out we are not competition but to imagine we think anything of you let alone have time to hate you.. Wow you real think a lot of yourself.

Also play dial up, have a job and a family so my play time is and always has been limited. If I had chosen to grab those exp and play out blm day in and day out I would also be "chok fulla" merits. Been to all the gods, been to a good chunk of the big hnm, everything but Dynamis X win, etc.....
SEA is not on the top of my to-do list.

I was never concerned about getting GOD drops so spending my days in sky never apealed to me. I will admit they are cool but for now I am more than happy without.
