Maybe it's just me, but lately I've noticed more and more negative than positive on Shiva lately.

You know how you get that feeling that things are "good" or "bad" in a community? Well lately I've been feeling the morale of resident Shivans going down the **** shoot. Why is this? What has everyone's pantie's in a bunch? And is it contagious????

Ok, to answer those questions:

1) Its not just Shiva. Its like this on every server, sometimes worse.

2) Shiva's always been negative cause of many reasons I don't want to start numerous flame wars over.

3) As long as youre NOT in any hnmls, and Fable Unity isn't, its not going to happen to you.... that is, unless you get yourself involved in all of it. More than likely, you'll get a response like "You werent there, so why should you care?" and others similar to that.

Why is this? Go ahead and ask them. but, Im staying away from the flames and roasting marshmallows -.^

Well, a certain virus has returned to Shiva over the past few days, maybe that has had some effect?

Shiva is better than a lot of other servers, but certain drama queens like to make it sound a whole lot worse, when it's really not.

I definately wouldn't say that. The negativity from everyone and everything has seemingly leaked all over the dang place. I'm half tempted to put everyone here on Prozac.

i think the recent negativity is a result of time and time alone. with a majority of players having completed zilart and CoP and having attained a 75 job (sometimes more like 2-5 jobs), people have stopped banding together to complete missions and learn. now all there is to do is camp NMs (and make the gilsellers lives a living hell) and start drama to pass the time. when the new expansion comes out i guarantee people will be banding together once again to explore the unknown. but of course the HNMLS drama will continue as it always does.

P.S /em coughs on Sophus. yes its contagious. enjoy your drama AIDS

This is one place where you're just generalizing. I've actually heard about an argument going on in FU (from a while back) that was worse than ANY argument I've encountered in YellowCake (now in my previous LS's I have surpassed it...) Drama can happen in many places, just the sheer difference in opinions between two strong-minded people can begin a huge argument and 'drama', doesn't need to be an HNMLS for that. It's insulting to those of us in HNMLS's that don't have such 'drama' to hear it being generalized like that.

You know what causes Drama? Marleau. There, I said it =P

What does "talking out of nowhere" mean? :/

And I agree, Ayaz, idle hands are playing a big part in it. Still, it's painful to see everyone moping around and thinking that the world is coming to an end. Whatever happened to people enjoying this for the game that it is?

edit: sorry, I meant Ayaz, not LoH. Gotta give props where props are due!

they took my appendix out about a year ago. it was so ridiculously painful afterwards. your ab muscles are in a state of revolt against your body and your organs are in shock from being shifted around so you cant potty (#1 or #2 D: ). i feel for you man. the first 2-5 days is pretty ***********

HAHA, LoH you're one to talk..... I've been trying to avoid the whole ordeal of drama, and I'm going to keep to that. In short, leave me out of it. I'm retired from the hnm circuit and I'm keeping to that.

I'd prefer it if you didn't mention my name with drama again cause I'm not stooping down to your level (How many people have you flamed exactly? How many times have you fed off people's misfortunes and made them feel even worse? Cause last I checked, you didnt exactly have the best reputation yourself, pal. Don't think I'm not reading the threads, cause I do.), thank you.

Seriously, though, man... You need to grow up. And if I'M telling you that, then theres something seriously wrong with you.

Lol...you are a one-dimensional creature Marl. You can only see things one way, and that limitation is what causes drama around you. You think that because you 'retired' from the hnm circuit that drama cannot happen? Please...drama is everywhere, it's not just with HNM's, I think I've seen more drama in non-HNM situations than otherwise, and yet you make those claims. But I suppose there is nothing one can do, you won't wake up from the world that you live in.

I love drama.

I get out my popcorn whenever a new dramarific thread for Shiva starts.

Especially love it when I'm involved or when someone I know is involved. Not as interesting as when strangers are involved.

Bring on the drama.

Never Soph!! Im gonna sick my evil appendix on you!!

I got not problem going #1 i just cant get #2 to come out lol. My gut is a rumblin and bumblin like no other but my stomache muscles wont let me push it out cuz it hurts my surgery area :/

And.. Oh LoH it never ends with you does it.

dude i know how you feel. i sat on the toilet for like 2 hours in the hospital. its friggin agony not being able to perform lifes basic functions.

someone start some drama thats worth a damn. and have it resort to "YOURE A NOOB AND YOU ARE TEH STUPID". <3 that kinda stuff.

LoH you smell. is that drama worthy?
#23 Apr 04 2006 at 4:10 PM Rating: Decent
LoH, you obviously didnt understand when I said "Leave me out of it". You're in college, correct? I hope you know how to read, because it seems obvious with your previous statement that you don't. Learn how, please, then get back to me.

Non-HNM drama can be stopped in my eyes. How? Its called being an adult and talking about the problem... Have you ever been civil with someone? I doubt you could with Omfg, Rushhh, etc, but thats a whole different story. Anyways, I digress...

Being civil and honest is what brings people to negotiate and it works all the time... I just don't think it will with you.
You'll never listen and try to correct yourself because you ALWAYS think you're right about everything... Truly sad. You still don't seem to understand that because I've actually seen you in other people's business on other boards flaming them, when in reality, this is a GAME, and only for MATERIAL possessions. Is this your only true joy in life, to make other people's lives miserable simply because you are? I just don't get it. GROW UP! And, for the love of God, STAY OUT OF MY BUSINESS!

A day at a Fafnir camp, however, is one that ends up being a 5 page flame, and I'm usually seeing your name on these posts simply cause you're the firestarter of most of the flames. Notice a difference? In short, you've been pwned.

Now as I am about to go back to my errands here, I'll keep my request short. "LEAVE ME OUT OF IT!" I dont want to have to write an essay on this crap again. You know what you did wrong and only you can atone for those flames you've caused, and I don't want to hear it or be involved in it. Thank you.

And my thanks, Dizzlestick... I appreciate the comment.

That's the way the internet community works. It's so easy to just call it a Fad or something, but that's basically how it is.

One day/week/month whatever we can all get along, buddy buddy, arm in arm, and be happy jolly people. Before you know it, somebody says or does something and we're at each others throats.

And again, like usual, we forget about it, or something else happens, and we move onto the newest "thing". It's mob mentality, and like it or not, we're all suscetible to it, some more than others, but nobody is immune.

If everybody's panties are in a bunch now, they'll either get bunchier or we'll swap out for a new pair, hopefully pink with little white frills and maybe a little bow on the front.

All I can say is I hope we change our panties before we get a sh*t streak and **** stains, although that's inevitably where we do end up before changing.

Um... Barchiel... LoH and I never got along. I think its cause hes a Fire sign of some kind... That has to be it. I'd try to be civil with him but I have a better chance at being struck by lightning than being civil with him.

I'm rather startled by this statement, Marleau.

You left my linkshell because you had to wait for koenig hands/head when you were 65ish PLD when I had 75WARs signed up for them.

You got angry because you couldn't get the items you wanted right away and you weren't willing to wait for a couple of months in order to recieve them.

You weren't willing to listen to reason or negotiate with the sky leader about the drop.

We kept telling you that you'd get it long before you were 73 but instead you threw a temper tantrum and quit my linkshell.

Now we're tossing these items when they drop, so it's your lack of patience and want of material possessions that cost you.
