Until Kramer offically no longer exists in FFXI on Shiva. After 2 weeks of not playing I cancelled my content ID yesterday.

To all my friends and aquaintances I wish you the best in all that you do and take care and have fun.

To all those who do not like me - whatever!

I am leaving because I have been spending more time focusing on RL and did not feel I had the time anymore to successfully lead Wasp like I did in the past. I did not want to be a leader who logs on every now and then, so I relinquished my role as leader and with no desire to continue playing cancelled my content ID.

lol, Jae, I am sure you and a few others have been waiting for this day, so go throw a party on Shiva, and goodbye to you as well.

Jae's caps lock key is stuck down @ work.

Take care Kramer. Enjoy your life, your family, yourself. Try not to get sucked into another game like this one I say lol. Too much goes by that I worry I miss when I'm in Vana'Diel. Use this as an opportunity to just spend some nice time with people you know and care about.

Arguments over sky points seem kinda silly when you think about making someone smile cause you spent a nice day with them.

/bow, /kneel, /goodbye.

As a leader of Wasp, this will be my only post on this subject. I will try and keep it as brief as possible.

Well Kramer, frankly it matters not to me, nor any of the other members of Wasp whether or not anyone was waiting for this *day*, as you said in your post. *wink.

What matters to me, and the rest of the members of Wasp is that you LED our linkshell to what it is today - one heck of a great linkshell. That in itself should be 'nuff said.

On a personal level? You gave me a new direction in this game at a time where I felt I had no place to go.

As our leader? You never once asked anyone to do anything that you wouldn't jump in and do yourself. As a leader you relinquished alot so that others could have the gear and drops they desired. You were selfless in your time online and ingame - always seeking ways to help all of us achieve what we wanted.

Our members could see something in you that not many other leaders possess and that is that you truly gained pleasure from seeing members get what they needed; most of the time getting nothing for yourself.

So now, I hope that you find all of the pleasure, fun and enjoyment in your new adventure that you gave to all of us for the past year.

/salute.

Wow, I must say I was quite surprised to read that you were leaving. I hope everything works out for you in RL, and enjoy that whole fresh air thing, my friends say it's all the rage these days. :p

Same here.... I am a bit saddened to see you go, Kramer. I have no hard feelings towards you or Wasp, and I hope Wasp continues on its road to glory. Youve done all but sacrifice yourself to the cause of making your ls a special group. I know I went to Wasp when it was the "hot" thing to do, but look at what has happened. Wasp is now one of the best run and one of the most organized linkshells, if not the best in Shiva. You are to be thanked for starting the experience up. I will never forget you, but it kinda stinks you'll miss ToAU.

I wish you nothin but the best as well, Kramer. You deserve this honor, which honestly is the first time I've ever given this to.

I am still a bit curious about who's leading though..... If it were me, I'd let Fem or Abbi have the role, simply because the hate between other ls's and Wasp would lessen immensely (/stare at all those Wasp haters). But thats just me. I have always believed in a Shiva that would attain pure harmony and peace. I still believe it can and will happen.

Gl in Rl man, and wish you truly the best.

Thanks for all the replies and good luck to all of you, and Marl I never had any hard feeling either.

I did not leave FFXI to play Eeverquest 2, I left FFXI then a couple weeks later started EQ2. I am loving the game atm, I can solo to 70 if I want too, so no more lfg for hours. Also I picked the job Conjuror having no clue what it was, and it ended up being a summoner. So I am a level 14 summoner that has Blm type spells, summons to tank for me, I have warp, and also have "Flee" all as a level 14 smn. I can't wait to see what I have when I get higher!

No Meth, that is what I mean. Seeing I can solo all the time, I just log on for a few hours ere and there and play. No more my wife asking me to go out to eat on a Friday night and me saying " I can't, I have Dynamis to run", or doing an event that takes from sun up to sun down.

Now I can go workout, take the wife out for dinner, play EQ2 a couple hours, watch a movie, all in one weekday, as opposed to get out of work, log on FFXI, log off, go to sleep.

i know the feeling man. seems like there are some days where i log on at like 10AM and dont log off until midnight because there is so much going on and it cant be done alone.
