Well I must say Fan fest rocked and Shiva represented well. At the Forums I learned alot about whats in store for us. First the announcement of Chogcobo breeding and racing. Apparently you will be able to create custom choco's. Then we have the announcement of many many job changes and a demo of the new jobs Blue mage, Corrseir, and Puppett Master. Also I got to tour the new Expansion with lvl 70 charicters. It was tough but fun. The new expansion looks like a blast. Also there will be orbs for the new heros lvl 60 boss fight for those of us from shiva who completed the live adventure quest. We also got to fight these new bcnm similar bosses at the festivle and they were tough. Marathon was kicken and WillRicker from shiva along with many others got to run a lvl 1 taru through yutunga jungle and of course died miosrably on the big screen. And most fun of all were the after con dinners and evens with all tyhe Shivites who welocmed us out of towners to La. You guys rock. So if you have questions about fan fest of shiva attendies pleas post here as I have a full e-mail list oif all those who made themselvs known. Also I heard rumour of the next con possibly coming to Atlanta. So start planning now:)

As I have stated to a few who probably didn't hear, I have something to say to all the attendees, since I was acting as the host...
Thank you! You all represented our server with honor and spirit. Your courage and determination made us a server to be feared. Yeah we got pwned by Bismarck early, but what a comeback, huh? Taking over two tables, posting our own territory, it rocked... I know that I didn't get anything at all from the festival, but the lasting memories are something no chocobo rod can ever offer. I thank you all for coming and sharing your experience with each of us and Santa Monica. I know I personally enjoyed sharing my time with each and every one of you. I also know that I'm totally even more into this game knowing who is on the other side of the character you play.
If we learned anything, it was that we can all get along as a server and have no drama that these flame boards usually provide. HoCD, DL, DX, Wasp, DVS III.... Members of these hnmls groups as well as newer generation players got along and helped each other out on quests, heck, even just in paying for other peoples food and transportation. You should all be commended for the excellent days we spent together. I wish they never ended. I know I'll want to se you all again someday.
Before I forget, we have a few people wondering about the new ls.... What did you want to call it? I was interested in getting this fixed up so that way we can all keep in touch and such. I know some people want their rank 5 stuff done as well as a few other activities.... Maybe we could even start a ballista group, Jenn.... Im always in game, so look out for me.

If its going to Florida or Atlanta, I will go, simply because its the next festival and its also safe for me to wander around.... Of course, though, I won't know anything about the area, so I'm going to be exploring a lot more than anything.
However, a few of us here have a small plan in place if we do end up going.... I'll keep you posted when it arrives....
And oh yeah... I'll be giving the next host a keepsake in honor of the last festival, since I was the last host... Something for the old memories... I think it might be a touching gift for whomever receives it.

also on a side note when u travel by air if the oppertunity arises to give up your seat due to over booking do it; it pays off big time with a free roundtrip ticket on your next travel and they set you up in a very exclusive hotel with a posh room and free food with cash too ^^

Robert did, huh??? Hmm.... That does have some big credibility. For all of you who don't know who this guy is, hes one of the festival coordinators, one of the SE big wigs.
Well, If it does go east, I'd love to see it in either Atlanta, Chicago (At least I know I'd have a room there), Boston, Miami, any me-friendly-type city of liberal leisure, you know... Maybe if New Orleans is ready to host a big time event like this, maybe even go there too... Who knows? Its all up to SE.
Don't forget, though, that they did go to College Station, Texas, before, so they could go to a college city for this next event... Glitterngld, would you settle for Athens, GA, Talahassee, FL, Gainesville, FL, Raleigh, NC or Columbia, SC instead? I'd like to visit Raleigh or Charlotte myself to be honest....

Aie!! Fanfest was cool, glad to meet all the Shiva people there, we dominated the table wars.

Yes, we did rule two tables for the end of the party. Problem with us was that everyone assumed they were alone, thus they kinda strayed from the main group. Trust me, we weren't alone, and we had a table to show for it. We just needed more people to go. I think Carby server had at least 50 there. From my count, we had about 23, including the strays wandering around.
I had a memorable dinner planned as well at Norm's nearby to show our togetherness. I think we did a helluva good job in welcoming everyone that went to the festival. I thank you all for making this fun possible, and I can't wait til it happens again.
Oneiro, I'm also glad this event peaked your interest again... Frankly, I, too, will also put myself in the bookie role on Choco racing, seeing as I like to gamble, lol...
As for the pics, Oneiro, I'd have to get my cd burner working, and I hope it works for the photo cd I got from Walgreens.... cause I don't know how to use the new burner I have.
My scanner is also on the fritz, lol... I got your email to keep in touch at least, so thanks so much at least for that.

As much as Atlanta or Fl would be cool New Orlenas would Rock.... Booze Booze and more Booze!!! Plus you can smoke anywhere:) I( did hear rumors of atlanta and If it is there you can guarentee a large crew from my area will come. Also anyone who wants to stay in touch send me A FL request.
I know smoking is a bad habit n Im trying to give it up but South Carolina aint as bad as some other states like FL, TX and CA those 3 I been to and you cant smoke in resturants even places like Applebees. But in SC they still have smoking sections ^^. Anyways Greenville SC would be a good place cept certain roads near malls traffic is worse there than near the Santa Monica pier.
I can only imagine it..... I doubt anyone in your town would like an aggressive LA boy yelling for people to move their cars, lol....
