there are 8 zones into jueno. if batallia is too laggy to run a roughly 5 second stretch from the gate to the zone, try one of the 7 other zones.

and please, tell me how puttin MPK on the same lvl as MPK is, ************* retarded"

level 1 loses like 0 exp.
level 75 or whatever loses 300exp+

level 1 has no time investment
level 75 has many hours hard work in it.

Its like me saying Im gonna blow up pieces of a car that you are having to have built and havent paid for till you make the car. Whoop dee doo. I blew up pieces of a car that are not even mine yet. Wow im so sad ; ; yea >.>

And a 75 is a completed paid for vehicle thats worth 60000$. If i blow up your car your gonna be pissed.

Same thing as this. Not a big deal at all. If a level 10+ died then yes it could be an issue. Fact is its not the issue.

HAHAHAHAHA

Well, I think MPKing the lvl 1 bazaars help them out. Like someone said, it helps them get noticed. And then they can just blood port to Mog House to refill on crap.

Let me catch your mule at that zone.

CHOO-CHOO!!!!!

lmao!!! wow 29 replies to an idiot who posts a very one-sided story of what he thinks happened but never had the full story!
The Real Story *shocked* i know yes you are!!!

It started as a normal morning i woke up from leaving my bazaar on over night. i see someone zone a sapling for whatever reason and i'm sitting there and i figured hey i'll kill it y not i got nothing better to do. so i provoke it and engage the little sapling. i fight it and kill it asap but while fighting it does an AoE move which i at the time being just woken up forgot all about. but seeing like 10+ level 1 bazaars just drop down dead! I start to lmao b/c it was pretty damn funny and i know a lotta people agree.

anyway long and the short of it... i'm sorry to anyone who i actually know got ACCIDENTLY mpk'd. anyone i don't know it was an accident chill, anyone i dont' like who died gth i don't care about you! and it's just a game remember and plus shouldn't be a level 1 job in a much higher area like was previously stated reply so it's no one elses fault but ur own!

anyway my essay's done for the night ^^, flame me, praise me whatever i don't really care

Hey EvilDemon, something isn't adding up...

In reference to your account...
1) Sapplings don't aggro, so that person would have had to have fought it (unless it linked, but...)
2) Saplings in Battalia Downs are far enough apart to not link

But assuming what you said is actually true...
3) With the new patch, once a person has zoned, the monster disapears
4) Even if you claim it with provoke/engaging/spells/etc, the monster disappears
5) Once the monster has lost aggro from its original target, it no longer attacks anyone. It just disappears.

Now given, I wasn't there. But because of these nice anti-mpk measures that SE implemented, the only way a monster (with enough TP to AoE) could have done what you said is if you yourself pulled it.

Maybe I'm wrong, but your story doesn't add up.

When someone zones or uncharms a mob it takes about 5-10 seconds to dissappear. Anybody can claim it during that period.

it did not link or aggro, someone zoned it.

and you can still claim it because it doesnt despawn til like 5 seconds later

Again....

But don't take my word for it, try it yourself. Have someone aggro something and then run it a couple squares to zone.

Here's the thing: the only way that sappling could have gotten there and started attacking people is if a) someone was fighting it or b) it linked to someone fighting ANOTHER sapling (they do NOT aggro otherwise).

Furthermore, had that person zoned it because they were fighting it it would have disappeared once they zoned because of the new anti-MPK measures. You can claim it all you want, it does not transfer hate. I've lost many mobs that I was fighting that way.

But I conceded that there's an off-chance that the sapling linked while someone was fighting it. To that, I pointed out...

And allll of that led to my original comment....

That's actually not true. If you take an action on it before it despawns, after hate is lost, it will go back into it's normal attack mode. It's fairly easy to demonstrate, so I'm suprised you haven't seen it happen. There's many times when the mob will lose agro while you're pulling it, and you can turn around and shoot/voke it before it despawns. If it still despawned after you shot it, it was probably a lag issue where the signals got crossed or something, as that isn't the normal behavior.

lol ok, so some lvl 30 was messing around, couldnt kill it, so tried to zone, after he zoned, the dude voked it quick enough cuz it DOES go white for a second or two.

so hence he did just wake up he was like w/e ill scratch my *** for a second and maybe it had built up tp from the other guy.

but w/e, dont be putting lvl 1 chars out there. then you dont have to worry about people. use your own char.

i've actually claimed a zoned monster on multiple occasions. he said the sapling was brought to a zone by someone who apparently could not handle it, and that it wasnt linked or aggroed.

the warping of the mob is not instant, and saplings can spawn near enough to the zone where they wont disappear

I have yet to see anyone claim a monster that has been zoned and have it do anything. I again urge you to try and prove this wrong. Have someone attack something and then pull it a couple squares to zone. Then, provoke it and do nothing. The monster will stop attacking, and the monster will disappear. It does not matter how many times you provoke/attack it.

And again, I will reiterate: there is always a chance that the monster was a link--but slim at best because of the immense distance between saplings out there. Unlike the first sapling, this one would not have had direct aggro. Therefore it *is* possible that it could have been provoked, but ONLY if it was provoked before the person zoned. Otherwise it too would have disappeared.

Even if that were the case, the original person would not have been attacking it. And since they were not attacking it, it would not have been able to gain enough TP AoE attack.

I'm not defending anyone leaving a level 1 job in Batallia Downs (read my first post) but I *am* saying that his account doesn't make sense. If he's going to call the OP an idiot, he should at least make his story sound credible and not secretly defend his actions by saying:

Summary for all you non-readers:

More than likely, Evildemon's story is *********

Sophus wont stfu until everyone agrees, so stop argueing. Since in fact everyone whos tried to prove him wrong, has yet to use a story involving zoning a mob.(insert story of pulled mob losing hate, and repulling)

Msz makes another horrible analogy involving mpk over HNM claim, which could result in the loss of millions of gil in drops being taken. As opposed to having to waste 20mins walking a mule out to batallia.

End thread.

If you notice, I only responded to/quoted TaterzZ...not to dammien or Hripthe. All three of them had dissenting opions, but TaterzZ was the only one who said:

Sloth, I could care less who agrees with me. It's comments like those that I will attack. They irk me. ;)

(And fyi, TaterzZ and I get along real well. We're even in the same LS from time to time. Still, it's possible to like a person, yet not agree with everything he/she says. It's called having mutual respect.)

hey i was mentiond in his post! i feel so loved <3

except it wasnt an analogy. i simply stated that MPK is MPK no matter which way you turn it.

oh yes, and i am no longer Msz, as you might have been able to tell from my sn(TehArtistFormerlyKnownAsMsz), and if you had check my char info(Sexiest Taru in all the land.)
