I thought it said "PI" like Magnum P.I. Those are some cheap PLs. I actually might take you up on that offer to get to lvl 10 real fast.

Well, in response to the second poster, I really don't see the problem with this kind of post. This is a legitamte way for someone to make gil in game. I rarely level my lowbie jobs because I don't have the patience, but the last few times I have it seems somebody always brings a PL for some of it. Farming out services like PLing seems reasonable to me. Better than buying gil or fish botting anyway. Besides that have you seen how many pt's these days have a PL?

To the OP, I think you're rates are low. If I get some time soon I may look up your services.

PLs contribute to really bad players never learning how to do their jobs correctly. With the possible exception of a solo lvl 10-12 if they are having trouble finding a pt, I will never PL. Once you bring a PL to a party, the entire dynamic changes and tanks don't learn to keep hate, whm don't learn to heal and conserve MP. The dunes sucks because that's how its SUPPOSED to be - people have to learn their jobs sometime and it should be in the Dooms however painful it may be. Next time you're in a party with a PLD/NIN and they ask what level provoke is, blame your PLers.

Mad, remember when you asked me if all mages get off-hand weapons when i came and raised you in the tunnel to altep a couple weeks ago?

remember how amazed you were that i was able to tell which zone you were in before you told me?

well by PLing people you are contributing (in at least some way) to the ability for someone in their mid 30's to ask questions like that or not know things like how to see where the person sending you a /tell is.

i don't mean to pick on you, but it is the most effective (as it applies directly to you) way i could think of to convey this message.

please, do not contribute to the dumbing down of our virtual sociaty any more than is absolutly necessary

You guys make a good point about PLing a new player. In those cases I would 100% agree with you and personally if I were a new player I wouldn't want a PL. But for the majority of the people that play this game right now, they've gone through the dunes, like 3-4 times each. Now, they're just looking to get through fast so they can level the subjob for the subjob of their new favorite subjob. In those cases I have no issue with a PL.

To the trolls - rate me down if you don't like my opinion, it should make you feel cool.

Some of you guys use that excuse too often PL make bad players.. Pl's don't make bad players if you teach them along the way. A bad player is just a player that has not been taught in such a way which he is condidered good in this online society.

Well, how about this scenario - I've been through the dunes w/ RDM, BLM, and WHM. Your logic is it's ok for me to be PLed since I've been through a few times already.

Now I decide to lvl NIN and WAR - no prior experience being a tank whatsoever. That PL prevents me from trying to learn hate control because he/she has completely messed up party dynamics.

Even if some jobs are similar, there are ALWAYS differences and it takes time to learn them. You also don't always know how far your party members are along the way. I almost always end up partying with someone who doesn't have a subjob. We are doing a great disservice to him/her by PLing.

Well that's my point - PL prevents us from properly teaching newer players how to be effective in party situations. I would rather suffer through and learn the right way than being rushed along and not knowing jack sh*t about how to play my job.

It's a moot point really. Doesn't really concern me anyway, I go /bst and solo all my subs because I can't stand lfp. Besides I like the challenges and usually end up with more xp per hour solo after you factor in the lfp time.

Bad players are bad players. I've seen some lvl 75 morons, there is no data to support an assumption that they were PL'ed anymore or anyless than anyone else.
