Diz, this is where you and I see things diffrently.

Once again, we arent trying to brag. If it some across that way then I apologize. But some of you have been doing this so long or so many times or whatever that you dont see it with the enthusiasm you did the FIRST time you accomplished it. Try to remember what it was like the 1st time you took down Kirin or got the pull on Serket or stepped foot into Sky. If you have lost that kind of excitement then I feel sorry for you.

I got burnt out on this game. I took a couple of months off to straighten out some personal stuff, and when I came back it was SO different. No, I am not talking about the prices at the AH or anything like that. I am talking about the 1st time I teleported to Xarcabard and saw the northern lights again. Or the first time I went back to Sky. It all felt like doing those things for the 1st time again.

That is what makes DVSIII such a fun and exciting place to be. Almost everything we do at this point is still new and exciting for ALL of us. I hope it always stays like this for us. I hope everyone still looks at this game with fresh eyes a year from now.

So, for now, if a thread about something we accomplished bothers you then dont read it. But I, personally, am not going to stop posting our successes. There is nothing wrong with sharing a goal you have met. It is just to bad that some people have to hate on it.

translation: hey you guys arent the only ones that can kill big things, look at us, give us recognition b/c being able to kill something isnt good enough we want everyone to know about it

LS member2: "so what? we killed that mob a year ago and did it twice as fast"

I have mixed feeling about the views on this thread. I do agree that posting accomplishments may get stale if its something common like killing Kirin. Kill Kirin with 6 ppl, now THATS an accomplishment. But if its your first kill, thats great too and its good to hear and to see what an LS can do. So I guess I'm pro-accomplishments lol. Its much better to hear than "So-and-so LS tried to MPK us,etc". Progress is a good thing. Friendship within the server is a powerful thing. Lets love, not hate. Most of all, lets love...me. ^.~

Moral of the story: It's better to hear good news than bad news.

Personally, i like DVS member base for the most part. Miriel Jae and Alivas are old friends of mine. Yet i digress, ppl posting on server forums "Gratz to dvs 3 jae got an osode" is a little... how do you say, self ritous? Personally i could care less about what u post on these boards but, it is kindof "lame" to do it to a certain extent about linkshell acomplishments... that is why most ls have thier own website, to let everyone know what they are up to. I believe everyone has the right to boast on public forums for big acomplishments. Most ls have done it, and that is all gravy. I think it's just alot of ppl find it rather ridiculous that members of DVSIII feel the need to say miniscule acomplishments on public forums. Worst part is, the only ones replying are DVSIII members and Sophus... who to me appears to be everyones mascot(sorry soph.. but lol) I am not posting to flame anybody or start drama.. that is what KI is for. Just trying to direct light on to the subject.
