Doesn't make much sense...Follow

For some reason, my wired connection here on campus has slowed to a crawl. I can hardly load anything before it crashes on me. I am currently using the wireless connection, which is moving much, much faster than the wired. Any ideas why this is happening? I've emailed our tech guy but no response as of yet...
