After a wonderful 2 years on Shiva I have decided to end my FFXI "career". I am not leaving because I am mad at anyone. I am not leaving because of the economy. I am not leaving for any reason related to the game itself.
It is time for me face some real life issues that I have avoided for some time now. As a husband and father I have allowed myself to be drawn away from my family into the game. And while I have made some fantastic friends over the years, my family must come first.
To all my friends, I wish you nothing but the best in the game and in your lives. I know we will stay in contact with each other. I hesitate to mention any names in particular for fear of offending someone but I need to throw out a few.
Miriel, one of the best leaders I have met in game or in real life.
Jae, a wonderful friend whose passion is an inspiration.
Alivas, a good person who always seeks to be the best player he can be.
Whitedevil, a great player and a good friend.
You guys were a blast to static with for so many months. I look back on those days as my favorite time in the game.
Payne, Luminae, and Rhamiel, you guys were my first friends in Vana Diel. How we have all come such a long way.
Miggleworm, Ruroni, Aresfury, Sophus, Shimmer, and Krimzen, you guys were all great friends to me and I love each one of you.
To those that I met in passing, I hope I left a positive impact on you.
To those that I have had conflict with, I offer my apologies for any hard feelings. It is, after all, only a game and not worth the terrible frustration and conflict that it seems to cause from time to time.
FFXI has been a great experience, but it is time for me to move on. I wish the whole server well and hope that you all learn to put some of the stupid, childish things behind you that cause so much conflict and learn to treat each other with respect and decency.

Here's to Alekzander, one of the greatest leaders...and by far one of the greatest mentors in this game.
Years ago, you saved my n00b rdm/mnk in the dunes from a Bogy with your poweful level 50 bard. Since then I have come to value your friendship, your leadership, and your guidance. You didn't surround yourself in greatness, you made those around you see that they were great. In you, I saw what a leader should be, and I strive every day to be that person. Thank you for being you, Alekzander...the great.

Goodbye to one of the best Mentor/player/leader, that Shiva could ever asked for.....U might not remember me but U saved me on my N00b days when I was a Blm16/Whm8 from a goblin in Valkrum Dunes....:)
