See, if you had just listened to me from the beginning you wouldn't be having this problem. Forward thinker, I am ;).

Why not just list your linkshells in alphabetical order and have a line under each with the basics they do so you don't have weird classifications happening?

You could add sky, HNM, Dynamis (and put in brackets the Dynamis shell name), sea, Limbus, special-event, special-job, etc., etc.

Seems to me it would be easier to do it that way then to split it up by type.

Example of doint it Meara's way:

Wasp - leader Kramer
Sky, HNM, Cop, BCNM, KSNM, Ugg Pendants, Bq Rings, Ohats, Tatami shields, Rostrum Pumps, Dynamis (waspnest), etc...

Thats alot of typing for each LS. I think this classification works just fine.

I just guess I need to make a 70+ LS for Uchi's.

He's not flaming it, Kramer, he's giving suggestions. Personally, I like it the way it is and I applaud your effort for doing it.

I see you've put me into level 70+...but it's not - we have everybody from 30 to 75.

I dunno how to classify it either, but how about, "Fetish LS" - since I have subligar fetish.

Seriously, tho, you can put me in 1-75, with a (End Game Retirees) underneath the LS name.
#35 Nov 18 2005 at 3:05 PM Rating: Good
idk, I like having it categorized - if someone's looking for an LS to join, they probably have in mind the type they are looking for, as opposed to the actual name

"other" is too broad - you...must...conform!!!

Conforming is for people with jobs!!!!!

oh wait, I have two :(

Yeah, wasn't flaming it, just a suggestion to try to help. If you want to do it this way or that way, doesn't affect me in the list.

I didn't mean put all their activities. Just the basic ones you've got listed in the categories already after their name.

Something like this:

Abracadabra Linkshell
Leader: Mr. Magoo
Sackholders: Papa Smurf, Bugs Bunny
Levels: 1-75 (Beastmaster Only)
Events: HNM, Sky, Sea, Limbus, Dynamis (Deathshell), special events
Recruitment: Closed

"Special events" would be a category in itself, meaning things like Hakutaku fights or other miscellaneous events.

Maybe it's me, but I tend to lump high-level items into the HNM category (O. hat, Ug. Pendant, BQ ring, opo-opo necklace, Joyeuse, etc.), even if it's more technically a quest or just a "regular" NM.

Woah, major rate down there. ; ;

I really didn't mean anything by it, just trying to make a suggestion based on how I would research something - as in how I would look up linkshell things. I don't mean you HAVE to do it this way, just another way that may make it easier to read.

My linkshell knows I always do everything alphabetically anyways, right down to stun order and aerial armour order.

Here's another suggestion:

Why not include major time zones as well?

You sometimes get linkshells that do most of their scheduled events in EST and others that are PST. There are 4 hours difference here that can make a big difference in whether someone can take part in something or not.

Also, a lot of the Dynamis shells are posted on the UchihaClan forum where we attempt to schedule Dynamis so we don't overlap each other on areas we want to do at the same time. It's somewhat successful.

Would more consider this LS a social linkshell but meh, put it in whatever category seems close enough.

NobodyzAngel, Sabrial, Silverish~White

Roleplaying:
ForlornAbyss, Xelltrix(me), Red

50+... Soon to be >.> Sky/HNM LS:
Fuzion, Eurwil. Sabrial. and Jprimal(all three of them got together to combine linkshells), blue

Fuzion is doing ZMs now so it will soon be in sky.

I agree, this should be stickied. These are a lot of good linkshells that people should know about when deciding what type of LS they want.

Not being mean or anything, but you misspelled the leader of United Knights, it's Errand, not Errend ^^

A name is one of your most important possesions, even if it's a fake one in a game.
