This was a very old post I made back in 2004. I don't know why it was bumped up.

Thoughtless people do these things for absolutely no reason other than to perhaps feel better about something I can't quite figure out.

Thanks to the bumper, this post has confused people that actually would like to do LB2. I have received PMs from 1 person who has 3 people that will like to do this.



Gentoo: Sure, I will help you, why not - It's been a while since I did my LB2 (2 years ago almost!) but I think I can do them quite easily now.

I'm sorry if some heartless person confused you, but since it was bumped up and you have asked for my help, I will.

Well now, don't I feel silly for not looking at the date of the post. Color me the dupe.

To be completely clear, you're post [from two years ago] was looking for people to do LB2 with, and I was offering that you could come along given that my shell was going to tackle it anyway.

I admit to being confused. I figured this was for a secondary character, you were just playing around with. None-the-less I felt compelled to offer assistance (thus my private message to you).

Thank you, Uchipu, for your offer to help -- that is really quite generous of you. I won't bother you, I'm sure you have scads of better things to do.

So yes, I'm bumping this old thread up yet again, but I couldn't think of a better place to post this.

This thread setup a series of events that lead to something of an epiphany that changed the way I view the denizens of Shiva at large.

I logged in Thursday evening, and received /tells from people I've never crossed paths with offering to help with my LB2. I received PM's offering assistance, and both Uchipu and Sophus offered to help in this thread.

I want to offer a heartfelt thanks to everyone that did. You're generosity with your time was genuinely humbling.
