Not that I really care one way or another, but putting up images on the internet of yourself posing in skimpy outfits IS going to be potentially viewed as attention whoring, regardless of whether that's your intended goal. It may not be fair, but it's the reality. First impressions and all that.

You will find that Garuda has it's share of attention whores. (I'm sure you are dying to meet Anna....) It's just that Sheila is not one of them. In fact I'm sure most people won't notice her at all.

Probably not; there's enough people vouching for her in here anyway, and like I said, I couldn't care less really. Just saying, the pictures give a definite impression of attention whoring even if that wasn't intended, and reactions like what Chewy has should not be unexpected.
I've never really thought of Anna as being an attention *****, just a n00b.
There was a couple of times Anna would have shout fits when her WHM/THF couldn't get a party....

Just wanted to say welcome to all from Garuda! Hope to see ya in game. I'm still fairly new 20-30's. About to begin going for RSE gear, Rank 4 Missions etc. Meeting more and more people fairly new/returning around these levels. If ya need anything send a tell.Shacojinn(my mule). I'm in a good shell, mainly 75's but all are real helpful.

Welcome Garduda-ans!!! This will be quite the adventure, now wont it? For those who are looking for new homes on Lakshmi (LS wise) -- I happen to have a social LS that is full of wonderful people, most of whom have families and souls <3 Hard to find nowadays lol. Anyway its called WingedTwilight - been around for about... 3 1/2 years now. We have a very solid core of members of every level, new to game, veterans, endgame geniouses and barely into the Promies... we have it all. Most of our members have families so its a safe place to hang out, not to say there wont be swearing or lewd jokes, but EVERYthing in our LS is said with a dose of respect, and we are all friends. If you want to join us, all we ask is you send a tell to either myself (Karelia) or Tritant with your HONEST garuda name (we really dont want people who are riddled with drama or gossip or bad karma) so we can ask our members if anyone is opposed. We do this with members from Lakshmi as well, so please dont feel singled out. We would LOVE to increase our linkshell family if you feel this would be a good home for you - we just place our current members' happiness over any potential new member - we will extend you the same courtesy once you join us!! Oh, and I know some shells prefer you only ever hang out with them and get angry if you shell-hop... we are not like this!! As long as you show respect for our members and FFXI players as a whole while you equip our pearl, we understand you have other friends, endgame shells, and sometimes just wanna be left alone! Its ok <3 Just bring a smile when you come into our shell!! We help with leveling, missions, NM camping (oiy!) :) you can generally find the help you need, or we will try to set up a future time to get people online to help you if it requires more planning or people are busy --

and also a little note to Karelia.....What a great way of describing your Linkshell. I currently have a Linkshell that plans to stay together while on Lakshmi, but I may be interested in a pearl if you dont mind the hopping back and forth, I would love to make new friends ^^

For any Secret of Mana members the linkshell is up and running on Lakshmi after the merge from Garuda. If you haven't gotten a new pearl yet just look out for myself or any of the sackholders in game.
Most have the same name as Garuda except for, Barden=Bardon, Bravestar=Braveheart and Aeyela=Wooooodum.

Wait. Someone actually had Wooooodum as a name here?
I read it as someone already having the name Aeyela, therefore Garuda!Aeyela had to change it to Wooooodum.
Which I still find amazing, honestly, unless the name Aeyela has some origins somewhere.
