looking at the dat mines I suddenly get the impression that the net value of all ingame items I own will be very low end statement :'(
I still need to grind out about 8000 exp for my 3rd merit and I'm not sure how well my back will hold out playing for an extended period of time. I might end up having to just grind Campaign where no one is relying on me. On the bright side though, I can go RDM/DNC and attack some weak points for massive damage. I still think I'm taking RDM to 80 first, but I really need to get on leveling THF subs so I can take that to 80 as well.

I haven't been in an actual merit party since being back because my RDM macros are super inefficient. I normally just do campaign as RDM/NIN which is slow, but relatively easy. (I don't use any macros when I do that because I'm super lazy and stupid). I've been too busy working on subjobs lately to try to even do a level sync party with RDM. Good thing I leveled SCH to 37 in 3 days only to find out haste can't be AoE'd. Guess there's no rush to get the extra 3 levels now any time soon.

can aoe phalanx protect shell and regen though, so it's not all bad xD (not to mention the sick mp efficiency to go with your naturally awesome mana regen skills)

Naturally I just spent my 5 merit points several days ago and I always trade in my seals for the inventory space so doubt if i even have one left. lol On the other hand I am very excited about this update. Dnc is so fun to start with and now it is going to be .. well words just dont cover it. :D
Still not looking forward to whm leveling nor the spell buying. Wonder how much those are going to be going for. blah. Wonder if dynamis will kick me out or let me do dnc instead of whm. lol.

I am hoping to quest the spells. Problem is we are going to need them immediately no doubt so cant wait for drop in price.
