because i got nothing else to do....and I still have a couple thousand dollars owed to me that hasn't arrived, and its putting a damper on my good spirits. Good thing my buddy Jack is over. Now if Mary Jane could show up soon it might be a good day.

Speaking of pokemon, I found a fun way to pass time in WoW. Hunters can tame pets and **** like BST but unlike BST they can recall them and store them. I think hunters can carry 5 pet whistles at a time, and store an unlimited supply. So my plan is to level a hunter, an catch one of every type of animal. Including Rare spawns. Yep Im turning WoW into Pokeman online.

I wasn't actually trying to stir anybody up; just being my usual smartass self. I don't know either Xen or Lil much, outside of a NM or two or a short /tell conversation.
Lil's demeanor in that thread was just asking for people to be contradictory, but even I agree with a couple of his points.

That was my favorite part about that whole thread, being accused of trolling him/her. (lylita sounds like a chicks nam so imma go with her). When all I said was, why do you honestly care who people think is the best soloer. I guess that is trolling in crazy land. Trolling would be heading over to the SCH boards and laughing at her for arguing which mostly useless 2HR (some funny tldr **** comparing MF and TR) was least useless. Or laughing about her claim that soloing your gear automatically makes you part of the elite crowd, when someone who has the exact same gear via groups isn't....oh wait I did laugh at that one.

Hello again eerybody. It's been months since I posted in this thread but a few days ago I started getting the itch so I've been stalking the forums the past couple nights and now I'm thinking about picking up where I left off. I left WoW months ago and I've been playing this f2p piece of crap MMO called Vindictus and it just makes me yearn for the sweet FFXIian goodness. I won't be starting for another week or two until I've found another steady job, but if I can find a good group of players to get into I will be coming back for the long haul this time. I still only have 1 abyssite and I'm going to be WAY behind, but I think I can catch up fairly decently.
So, how's everyone else been?

I'm assuming you mean you only have 1 Lunar Abyssite. No worries, you can probably get the other 2 in a couple days of watching Port Jeuno shouts (especially if one of your missing ones is purchased with cruor). Just as important will be getting caught up with Atmas, which again you can probably catch from PJ shouts. Hell, a person can even get all their AF3+1 just by watching shouts.
Let me know when you're back so I can keep you in mind when my friends and I are doing stuff you might need. I've known so many people who have come back to the game in recent months that I make it a habit to check my friend list whenever doing zone bosses/cataure/atma mobs so they can get credit.

Was I on?... and if so, what nickname did you use? You should have stuck around. We're a good group of players, some of the best on Lakshmi (excluding myself, of course).
So in my boredom of no FFXI, I started playing online poker again... I deposited $100 and lost it in an hour.

Online poker is rigged. In all the years ive played home games with friends Ive rarely seen Straight Flush, 4 of a kind, or Royal Flush, yet in online poker I see those hands beat each other at least once a night.
