Holy I'm so jealous ; ; Granted since I've been back I haven't had the time to get any job to 80 though.

And wtf with that Abyssea party...how did that happen?

Today I made some crab mousse. It was delicious.

Edit LMAO I GOT CLAIM WITHOUT TRYING. That's another good thing that happened today.

You know thats true. I got that warp to the frog camp too. lol we had a real mess out there. At least two more people died on the way to frog camp. It was pretty sad. After that I got another party in Abyssea in Tahrongi. It lasted long enough to get rid of what time I had left.
Why is it that in every Abyssea party melee cant figure out how to stop killing and let magic get kills?
Only ones that dont have this problem, extensively, is when leader reminds them a dozen times at each and every battle. Even that is hit and miss successful. Its a great mystery!

BECAUSE ANGON = INSTANT WIN

Easiest strat: Don't do a zerg! It's too touch and go, like Szabo's sex life!
Jesus, no one is saying Angon = instant win, but we definitely would've been better off with Angon on. That is not something you can deny. Another thing would've been nice to have was protect and shell but....sigh.

At the point we finally got people to start gathering there really only was time for a zerg anyway. Zergs work just fine, as does the slower method. I've done both and both have gone well, but they can also go horribly wrong in a moment's notice. sh*t happens, after all.
I was being facetious. :p

ACP is definitely one of those fights where things can go downhill instantly and, generally, irrevocably. Zergs definitely do work, but the success rate, in my experience, seems pretty much like a flip of a coin. That crazy AoE and Charm move; not to mention the crystal builds a resistance to Stun eventually, if I recall correctly.

No matter! It can always be attempted again.

I revamped my WHM macros, and it made a drastic difference in my speed and potency (inb4 that's what she said). I'm quite happy with them. Perhaps I'll detail it in the future, but it involves doing massive amounts of gear swapping before, during, and after casting by using '/macro set *' commands and button mashing. It's very nice. ^^

I also completed Serpentes set 2 nights ago. My RDM now has 6mp/tick of self-sufficient refresh! And 2mp/tick on WHM!

You were very very awesome in Salvage last night! ;D

Also /jealous at Serpentes set. ; ; I hate my luck. lol

With only 3hours of sleep tonight and how I'm still awake, I have come up with a Happy Friday idea. Before I potentially clonk out and forget, I record it here for future humiliation. Current thoughts are this is a little too long and I'd make it myself but I have no image editing program except MS Paint and I'm terrible at MS Paint.

*Dialogue/lines in italics are thoughts only and not spoken aloud.

**I doubt the GMs have these actual names but just in case, they didn't really say this.

THE TRUTH ABOUT GM CONTROL

GM training finally nears its end...

[SGM]Avenger: And finally, as one of the better perks, we allow you to take control over mobs or runs like Nyzul Isle but only when you have no calls in the queue.

[GM]Bacon: Haha...that's pretty cruel. I'd hate to do that to a player.

Months later in Mordion Gaol...

[GM]Bacon: Do you know why you were brought here?

Durpdurp is running around the GM

Durpdurp: idk lol idk lol idk lol why don't you tell me?! why don't you tell me?! idk

[GM]Bacon: Ugh...another long day...

Even more months later in Whitegate...

[GM]Bacon: I'm sorry, but even though it was very rude for them to do so, party leaders are allowed to remove party members from their party at anytime. I suggest receiving Quartermaster the next time.

Playersomething: Oh great, thanks a lot for being useless as always.

[GM]Bacon: Is there anything else I can help you with?

Playersomething>>: lol 'help'. like you would

Playersomething logs off

[GM]Bacon: Is it over yet...?

In Shout Durpdurp: {Nyzul Isle} {Do you need it?} 100 D/G Freelot 5/6

[GM]Bacon: Hmm... [GM]Bacon remembers his last encounter with Durpdurp

0 GM Calls Remaining

[GM]Bacon's face turns evil.

The End

I gave in. Got Premium and my avatar back.

I couldn't stand not having access to the mobile site anymore. The coding on this site makes it painful to load on my Droid, and an absolute ******* to navigate. Plus, I like the Live Updates.

So, let my quest for Guru resume!

Meh, kinda. Brainteasers like riddles and puzzles force you to think creatively and problem-solve. Trivia just tests your exposure to information and your ability to recall it.

I suck at pub quizzes.

The last one I got involved in was when I was visiting relatives. We all thought it would be an amusing after-dinner venture, so... yeah. Knowing that I was going to contribute absolutely nothing, I teamed up with my sister to come up with our team name. She wanted something silly; I wanted something mythological and awesome because I'm totally unoriginal.

I wish to god that I was able to remember the name we settled on. It was something like Sleipnir-Woo! (Odin's stallion plus some childish addition, for the uninitiated).

Predictably, we sucked, but we killed ourselves with laughter after every single interval when the main guy announced the current scores. He couldn't pronounce it (but gave it a good go, every single time!) and swore multiple times, asking for the team to reveal itself.

It was funnies!

The prize for last place is a bag of pork scratchings, so our team name has become "In it for the scratchings".

I swear the most difficult part of pub quizzes is coming up with a team name..

Scratchings? I can only assume that's what we call 'pork rinds' here. In which case: eww.

Edit: Thanks Wikipedia! 'Tis indeed the same.

None of us on the team actually like the scratchings, so we swap them at the bar for a couple packets of crisps instead.

After looking at the wikipedia page, in particular this image, I'm pretty grossed out by the whole idea of eating skin as a snack..
