Bet Mos going buy Black 2 just to play PokeWood. Now if only Mos didn't quit would of joined shell since last check in May only Plag was on all the time in eph guess sillies quit. Should be coming back in July if new expansion is real and check out the VW pulse cells things to get tocis and hekas.

I will probably buy B/W2 just for something new to play, I tried getting Conquest to run but haven't had any luck yet

I quit/took a break because of diablo being released and how dead the server was, but now diablo is just about as dead and I am considering a reactivation for the survey lotto thing at least and if they do announce a new expansion maybe it won't be so dead, but who knows.

People made such a damn big deal about that.

I have the remade versions of Star Wars on DVD. I forgot I had them until I found them. I popped Episode IV in my PS3 and then remembered why I erased the existence of it in my inventory of junk from my memory. At least I have the VHS versions.

I seriously need to transfer all that VHS goodness onto my computer before the tape deteriorates into oblivion.

The reason why people care if Han shot first or not is because of the moral implications involved. ...And because George Lucas made so many changes to the beloved Star Wars movies that it wasn't the same anymore.

I never want to fight that douche again. That is the main reason I never started another char because I refuse.

Those fights are arguably all even cheaper than some of the Maat fights >_>

Having done all the Maat fights I'd have to say easiest G5s would probably be WHM, BLM, DRG, SAM. WHM just has to stay alive for 5 minutes and the time still counts while Maat is slept by Repose, BLM can stun Maat's first spell and be uninterrupted by melee with Manafont, DRG can quickly take him down with a flurry of attacks/WS thanks to Spirit Surge recharging jumps, SAM can quickly take him down as long as Meikyo Shisui WS aren't whiffed.

The worst out of all of them by far was THF. If that was your first Maat fight, I can understand never wanting to do it again. But he's really the worst of the bunch to do at a 70 cap >_> I simply couldn't win at 70, despite being relatively well geared and even having merits from other jobs.

RDM is definitely luck based, but skill plays a part in it too. Knowing what to cast and when, how to handle both your and Maat's Chainspells, etc. I'd have a hard time saying whether 1/17 is an "average" record without knowing more about how your friend played + the status of her character at the time of the fight. Personally, RDM Maat was my first and I won it 1/1 no problem. :s

THF Maat though, you can gear up about as well as you can be for your level, but beyond that it's pretty much all luck. Other than hitting him with a Sneak Attack as your first hit (who wouldn't?) and Fleeing when he does Perfect Dodge, there isn't really anything tactical you can do to increase your chances. And at 70, your accuracy against Maat basically sucks *** even with merits and acc food, whereas he will have no trouble hitting you like a truck. There's people who got through the fight by getting the steal on him, but that has a low chance of working too, and you can only steal for the win if you've never won a Maat fight before.

Yeah, just looked at the trailer video. It's about damned time too...noticed the telling lack of a PS2/PS3 logo on the trailer though.

New jobs? *drools* Wonder how much of a pain those are gonna be to unlock though...

PS2 is most likely going to get a direct download or something; I can't imagine they're just going to abandon the platform after they just doubled its partition size or something which was no doubt a preparatory step toward this expansion.
