For example, pulling is fine in lower exp parties (I do not need to know every time someone pulls something in a merit party).
My BRD also has a /p line attached to Elegy (what I'm usually pulling with on BRD). Whenever I'm not the BRD, I happen to like knowing when the BRD (or anyone else for that matter) is pulling; I think this is information important enough to be broadcasted. I *especially* like knowing this in a merit party, because in case the guy is biting off more than he can chew, which is very common in merit parties, add management is generally one of my responsibilities as a mage so I'd like to know about potential trouble in advance.
In any event, anyone who finds that annoying (and if so, I've not yet met a single person who has actually spoken up about it) is free to blist me. I'm probably doing the same to you if you're being annoying enough. I did the same thing recently for a JP THF who not only had a /p line for his fuidama macro, but felt the need to include <call3> in it. Normally I wouldn't have cared, but the preservation of my eardrums deemed the blisting necessary.

I especially like the ones that do...
{Provoke}ing <monster>!
{Provoke} in 15 secs
{Provoke} in 10 secs
{Provoke} in 5 secs
{Provoke} {Ready!}
{Provoke}ing <monster>!
Also, the Grammar **** severely disapproves at {Provoke}ing. Ugh...
Many of the people who do this do not know about the existence of /echo. If I ever encounter these folks, I will bring /echo up and suggest they incorporate it. If they shrug it off or otherwise ignore it, then they get blisted. >_>
