2x Masamunes is all you really need (and both of them much easier to get than Tournesol). These weapons are not particularly strong but they are the best to use anyway because of their high combo rate (it's just a shame there is only one Genji Belt in the game). Berserk/Haste these guys and use Infuse to get their HP to critical (enhances combo rate) and they will be raping sh*t for as long as you can keep Yiazzy's attention off of them. 3rd person obviously runs around with Decoy/Reverse. As you might have seen from Yiazmat speedkill videos, this is generally the fastest way to bring him down, but unless you are playing the International version (in which you can break the 9999 damage limit), it's still going to take a while.
If the Masamunes are not hitting 9999 (or 6999 after Yiazzy activates his "reduce all damage by 30%" defenses), do everything you can to make them hit harder. I think the DEF-lowering technick still works on Yiazzy (it works on almost everything in the game, surprisingly) and its effect never wears off, so if that works stack it up as much as you can.

Hey Fyn, do you want to battle some time? My current team would love a challenge before I retire it for my new team.
Well, assuming that I can actually get the wifi thing to work properly...
Now wouldn't be the ideal time for it really, because I've recently traded a good amount of my pokes and items from Diamond/Plat to HG in order to breeze through that game easier.
In short, 1) any sort of coherent team I could make is kinda scattered right now, and
2) For the time being, I'm kinda focused with getting through HG
Once I can reconstruct a team I'll give it a shot. One thing I've wanted on my Platinum battle tower team for a while now was a decent Gyarados, and HG presents a perfect opportunity for me to get one of those with the shiny Gyarados forced encounter.
I could also just hax myself some pokes with Pokesav, but at least for the time being, I'm remaining a purist.
