I watched a couple of the obligatory 9/11 documentaries this last weekend, and I was more struck by the fact that teens (and even many young 20 somethings) don't remember the event themselves personally. So I suppose they did grow up in a "post 9/11 world", but that also means that it was always something that happened in the past to them, not something they experienced. Not sure how significant that is, or how it changes their perception or world view though.
