That like sounds a lot safer bet, and you're probably more skilled at blowing stuff up too. This could work.

Sure, that is some excessively large font there.

As for the article, I'm not so eager to eat up "These things happened while x, therefore because x."

The Article Gotham Needs wrote:
Warner Bros. and the theme park developer Miral are pulling back the curtain on Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, releasing new renderings of the $1-billion venture poised to bring DC Comics superheroes, Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera cartoons, and old Hollywood glamor to life in the United Arab Emirates.

Set to open next year on the man-made Yas Island, the theme park will feature rides, family-friendly attractions, a hotel, and live entertainment spread across six themed lands.

Visitors will enter the indoor park through Warner Bros. Plaza, a celebration of Hollywood’s golden age, while Metropolis and Gotham City sections will showcase the gleaming skyscrapers and dark alleys of Superman and Batman’s respective hometowns. For animation aficionados, Cartoon Junction, Dynamite Gulch, and Bedrock will feature attractions based on characters like Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo, and the Flintstones.

Yas Island is also home to a Ferrari theme park, a water park, Formula One racetrack, and a golf course, and it is the future site of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.
So if you're looking for a place to see a movie, get mugged in an alley and turn your kid into a superhero, here's your chance.

Awesome Snacks, Vol 1 wrote:
Doritos probably isn't the first snack you'd think of when choosing something to chow down on mid-screening. After all, there's a lot of sound involved in chomping those chips. However, when it comes to Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2, it's going to be hard to choose anything else. There's going to be a limited edition bag of of the chip brand that does something special: it plays the entirety of Awesome Mix Vol. 2 - the soundtrack to the upcoming blockbuster.

Starting Friday, according to Billboard, Amazon.com will be selling the special bags that come equipped with headphone jacks, as well as the ability to recharge the player for multiple uses. While Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 is has all kinds of other tie-in products like toys, clothes and clothing accessories ... and pretty much anything else under the sun that you can think of, this has to be the most interesting, and possibly the most sought after item once it goes on sale. And we can't blame anyone for scrambling to buy this weird thing.

As if Doritos themselves aren't tasty on their own, the fact that you'll own a copy of Awesome Mix Vol. 2 with purchase isn't a bad deal. Reading over the track-listing, which includes classic songs from ELO, Sweet, and Glen Campbell, the chance to listen to some classic tunes the package is pretty valuable. Not to mention, even if you're not a fan of Doritos, the chance to own a limited bag that plays the greatest hits of Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 could lead to the procurement of a rare promotional item that any bigger fan would be happy to display in their collection.

Considering how most fans already have copies of Awesome Mix Vol.1, it's almost a given to pick up a copy of the Guardians of the Galaxy follow-up soundtrack. So naturally, brands like Doritos are looking to get their hands on part of the galactic gold that no one could have predicted the James Gunn franchise would turn into. But while this item is definitely going to be an exciting one to look out for, it's more than likely going to be in limited supply. So be sure to get onto Amazon as quick as you can, if you want to have any chance of grabbing one.

Oh sure, a musical Dorito bag is a waste of science points but a fallopian ram-skull uterus is the discovery of the century.

There are enough people migrating to Portland to justify creating that image?

Yeah, we had one of the highest net migration rates in the country at one point around 2014-15 (like 6th or 7th maybe? memory fails me. I are old Smiley: frown...). Lots of young educated people fleeing the bay area mostly. Don't know where things stand more recently, but there's at least a little truth to it.

We'll see how many stick around after this year though. It's been tough even on the long-time residents. All is cold and wet. Smiley: frown

There's something to be said in favour of not dealing with snow while also not having to deal with the Bible Belt or California.

That makes sense. Portland just doesn't really sound like the kind of place there'd be a mass exodus to. Then again my frame of reference of the area is pretty limited.

I like snow. Provided I'm inside next to a heating source for 90% of the time it's around.

The Bible Belt can go pray itself.

It's really not, but proximity and low standards do more for the world than just getting people pregnant on high-school band trips it seems.

Naw I don't think it's that bad. On the plus side we got these great new guys who like to dress in black and they promised to get rid of the hipsters. They've even helped out by filling some of the potholes from this winter's storms. Good times are surely ahead.
