Okay, so apparently #ZeroBiscuit is now about fighting hunger. You know, I think if we hijack one more hashtag and turn it into a charity drive, we get honorary pirate hats. Yarr.

The 'your' was meant to be plural. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out if 'train of thought' should be pluralized as well, and if so, how, which ultimately lead to me using 'is' instead of 'are' immediately after. I'll admit, my English vocabulary and grammar is still somewhat limited.

Furthermore you've also tried to homogenize feminism with egalitarianism. Feminism is the ADVOCACY OF WOMEN'S RIGHTS on the basis of the political, social, and economic equality to men. Words have meaning; egalitarians are actually concerned with equality; Feminists are concerned with women only.

She was allegedly in talks with EA last November to work on Mirror's Edge 2 as a consultant. Whether it was a baseless rumor or true and one party pulled the plug on the other is up for debate, but she's not anymore. Besides the fact it is an online petition and those are worth the paper they're written on, I can't really fault people for wanting to keep her out, rumor or not.

Wait... so what? Starting a petition is a wholly appropriate response here. No one is being threatened with murder-rape or having their address disseminated or being told their house will be firebombed. It's just people signing a piece of virtual paper to make their opinion known. Isn't this exactly what you should be wanting rather than mocking?

Sure, and the petition says as much. They were just informing EA, as consumers, that they did not want a product she was part of. The fact that people didn't know she wasn't part of it is secondary; I never heard about it so I've no idea how the rumor started.
Heck, if I knew Sarkeesian was involved in a game, I'd be less inclined to buy it. Her videos give me little reason to think she knows much of anything about making a decent game versus raising a ruckus and I'd assume the developers were putting a Sarkeesian Stamp of Approval over game quality in spending time/money on hiring her. I wouldn't bother to sign a petition though because I think the whole GG/Anti-GG thing is fairly silly and wouldn't want to play into it and because I just don't care that much about games. Not buying it would be 'protest' enough.
I'm more confused by your mocking of them making a petition. Ok, I get it from a "Har, har, theys so dumb!!!" standpoint and mocking the other side just because. If someone was actually concerned about the violence angle here rather than just being "right", this should be a huge win and something to be, if not celebrated, at least not mocked.
