Additionally, sometimes the banter can be more entertaining than the game itself. I'm a fan of MFPallytime and the TGN Squadron's videos of Heroes of the Storm, but there's no way I'm touching that game until it's past beta. Despite its polish, there are definitely issues with the game apparent in vids that I'm sure I wouldn't enjoy. Dark Souls videos can also be entertaining, though I definitely don't watch as many of those as my roommates(who are also big fans of Markiplier, AGermanSpy, EpicNameBro and bunch of others I don't watch much).

With the rise of E-sports, watching competitive games has become a rather interesting market all its own, as well.

I watched some Hearthstone on twitch during the big tournament. Typically, I don't like spoilers to my games.

I had a hard time coming here originally to find answers to my EQ questions as I like to try and figure game stuff out myself. EQ quests were so convoluted and specific though - a typo would ***** up 2 hours of work. I'd have given up on a lot of good content in frustration if not for allakhazam.

Maybe I'll try watching some of the story heavy video games that I'd never buy or play.

I watched a few interesting SC2 playbacks a while ago on youtube. It was actually pretty good while there was some general silliness, when the game started, there was interesting commentary explaining decisions being made and why as he played the match. Pretty informative.

Not good enough for me to go back to over and over though.

That's much of why I like MFPallytime. He can be silly as all get out(and I do really enjoy that), but when he's by himself, he comments on everything going on, sounding a lot like a sports announcer. It's especially true on the HotS vids.

Sounds like it's time to start over.

It would be the kiss of death for Halfchan, a day long since coming. /b/ hasn't been worth visiting in years, /v/ is moderated to hell, and getting rid of /pol/ would just make the place unvisitable. That and it would pick up traffic at 8chan and /baph/ would probably stir shit up more during the chaos.
