That Yedlin is good at running fast with his legs. Shame he can't do much with the ball.

He can at least outrun Hazard and that's valuable.
#880 Jul 01 2014 at 2:50 PM Rating: Good
Yeah, Hazard is leaving him acres of space, but he needs to exploit it better. Bradley's been pretty tidy. Dempsey is showing his age a bit, but he's clearly the dangerous one. But yeah, belgium look like they could score at any moment. And their bench is impressive.

Fun game.

Hazard just can't be ***** to defend and Yedlin gets to make use of it. It's going to be a huge problem if Yedlin keeps running up front once he gets too tired to get back fast enough once the US lose the ball.
edit: on a vaguely interesting sidenote: Belgium hasn't scored before the 70th minute so far this tournament.

So far: Howard proves he's a very good man to have defending the goal, Courtois hasn't had much chance to do the same.

He's been great. Unlike most of the rest of the US team, he's actually a viable top league player at his position.

Klinsmann claims he's one of the 5 best keepers in the world, the Dutch commentator added that he'd better have Courtois in the top 4 then.

Yeah, he's not. That's overly generous. Top 25 maybe.

People have hyped over Ochoa and that Algerian keeper but what I've seen from Howard is more impressive, he looks very solid and I wouldn't mind seeing him in the Dutch goal (Cillessen is good but so inexperienced).

Well, Ochoa was definitely doing good. I don't think the Algerian keeper was good, but his beard has magic powers.

Against the Netherlands Ochoa was mostly very lucky, he's certainly not a bad keeper but he's not as good as people are making him out to be.

How many missed sitters have there been this game? I don't even know how it's possible to miss some of these chances.

Couple minutes late but 1 - 0.

Really good shot by De Bruyne too.

That's how it's done. USA don't look as bad as they did in the final 15 mins, let's see if they can equalise.

What class by the Belgian player though. Didn't catch who it was, but well done.

De Bruyne, same guy who scored the goal.

edit: and that's 2, Lukaku's revenge.
