Wish i could see a gilsellers faceFollow
Man it would be so funny to see how gilsellers are panicking. Right now theyre prolly like "Omg we cant farm today, our source of income is going away!" and they are also panicking about the update "Omg we cant camp those items anymore how will we live now, were only made to do this and ruin th game now we cant oh god!" they get what they deserve, dmn gilsellers.

u may have goten my pm but i know of plenty of gill sellers and stinkybuns is one of em i am not sure about the othhers but i have a feeling that my friend fongshu is one of them

As much as I dislike the effect on the game, don't blame them. Blame the companies exploiting the game for their incomes. The people in the game stealing everything and pissing people off really aren't the ones at fault. Comparing the median incomes of the various countries, I'd farm gil too if I got paid $20/hr (roughly what it translates to figuring the difference in median income between nations)
If you could see their faces, you'd see a 12 yr old boy, wearing rags, trying to make enough money to eat tonight.

I have strong doubts that it pays anywhere near 20$/hour. The bulk of the money always goes to the people in charge.
I stated comparative income. They earn 57 cents an hour in countries where $6/week is good pay.

Wait a minute Stinkybuns is a gilseller? A few months ago all I did was camp Spook because that was the only thing I could really do at my level.
Stinkybuns was always there and over a few weeks we had some goodtimes, but if they are a gilseller I am sure I pissed them off because I only lost claim 3 times in 3 weeks to stinkybuns even though they claimed to have gotten the mantle over 75 times (thank goodness for the dorms and thier T3 connection).
Man that really makes me sad to think that Stinkybuns is a gilseller because they seemed like a really cool person. Oh well anyone else I should know about that is a gilseller on our server for future reference?

Noob BLM named Gumbo shows up to my party in CRAP gear, just about the most EXPENSIVE crap gear a BLM can buy- at least 500k of junk that gives him no worthwhile bonuses. I said to my ls "Hey, I've got a gilbuying newbie in my pt!" They were skeptical, they wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt... Looks like I was right.
Gumbo, just FYI- gil buying is against the terms of the ffxi user agreement, and you can be suspended or banned for doing it. I don't give a damn if a noob who doesn't even know how to play buys gil, you'll just waste it. But TELLING people that you buy gil is a sure way to get a GM down your throat. Happy playing newbie ^^
WHAT!? Stinkybuns!? I have pted with her THF so many times in the 50s I cant remeber where though but she or he was always so nice and did awesome in our pt. She talked all the time and made jokes and everything. Heh....
Hey, gilsellers get paid dirt. But where they're from, dirt is good. =P
The Gil seller I hate the FUGGIN MOST is Bmoboss. I have been fighting that @$$hole off and on for months. I first ran into him right after I started the game in Valkurm while I was trying to get a Empy Hairpin for my THF... took me weeks to get the drop because Bmo and his friend Happydz lived on VE and I rarely got the claim. Now I see him in Davoi and Beadeux, where I farm/camp while trying to raise the gil to get my Scorp Harness.
This guy recently tried to MPK me when I beat him to Zo'Khu Blackcloud. A Silver Quadav linked as soon as I claimed the NM with Steal, then BMO stunned the Quad so I couldnt hit it even though it was hitting me and ran off to wait for Ge'Dha. I beat the NM and had to engage another Quad using Bloody Bolts to stay alive while the stunned Silver hit me. Eventually the Silver went back to yellow so I could kill it.
I called a GM and told them what happened. They apologized and told me appropriate action would be taken. Now I dont know what ACTION was taken, but I DO know that Bmoboss was back there the next day.... killing Ooze between Ge'Dha and Zo'Khu pops....

No people Stinkybuns is not a gillseller. There a about 4 or 5 other "Buns" characters ie Sillybuns, Stinkybuns, SeriousBuns, HoneyBuns etc. . They are all played by the same character who also has another name. True Stinky does camp the spook frequently but Stinky is not a gillseller.

Well, I'm not Stinkybuns or Sillybuns or Seriousbuns. They are all the same person, but I'm not one of them.
Anyway, Sillybuns and I both met when we had both first started playing the game. It was an odd coincidence that we had such similar names, so we became friends and are currently in the same linkshell. As for him being a gilseller... maybe somebody should have told him he was one so that he can stop working at a ******** restaurant. I mean, obviously he'd be getting rich off of spook right? 100k per drop, and he gets that 25% of the time that he's there, so that's maybe two or three times a week.
Wow... he's gotta be getting so rich off of that. That probably handles all of his living expenses up in Canada. He would have to be making at least twenty dollars a week right?

As for stinkybuns being a gilseller... hah. He's never afk while camping the spook, as far as I can tell, since I've talked to him while he's in Ransp's tomb. Still, if everybody is to be considered a gilseller for repeatedly camping a NM for gil... I must be one too, because about 6 months ago my sole activity was camping the orcish warmachines in Fort Ghelshba. Just because I was there for hours on end every day doesn't make me a gilseller.

gumbothepriest or Dumbo-thepriest? I know it's not original and you have been called dumb your entire life. Stinkybuns is a legit player who uses the spook to finance "HER" other characters. She's not a gilseller and for that matter not a her. accusing someone in a public forum of ****** you don't know anything about is irresponsible at best and slanderous. It can damage a reputation. Just cause stinky kicked your azz gettin to the spook is no reason to throw crap like that around.
