Windurst EFFollow

#1 Jul 06 2005 at 9:51 AM Rating: Decent
Hello AK,

I am interested in participating in EF events for Windurst. I would like to eventually organize them for my LS but I dont think we have enough people from Windurst to play.

If anyone one is currently doing these events and has room for a few more players I can round up some really good players to help out with your event. If you dont have a whole lot of space open in your event i would still like to attend.

Also if there is any LS that has a good deal of Windy residents that would like to consider an alliance style event with my LS for the purposes of EF that would be acceptable as well. If you are interested please post here, PM me, or come to the forums listed in my sig.

Thanks so much,

Gob

cause i've been nagging Goblobsters about these events for a while.

from what i've read, a full alliance can do this to great success. it's always 4 NM at each flag, who all aggro the first person to touch the flag. i think the same type of setup we use at HN Garrison 20 will work, minus the kited mob, as we will not have a second wave to contend with.

it seems that the NM beastmen spawn with random jobs, selected from the pool of jobs available (gigas, for instance, only have 4 jobs). this means you can fight Yagudo SMN that will astral flow, and Quadav PLD that invincible. this means that depending what jobs pop when the banner is touched, strategy may have to change. it could be simply "pwn the whm," or it could be more complicated (someone from a Leviathan-based EF LS mentioned in the Guides section of Alla that if you kill the NM BST's pet, he will charm your pt members.. >.< ).

the goal of the event is to clear all 5 flags as quickly as possible, so having spotters outside the alliance at the various flag-spawns would help facilitate "Conquest Chains".

there is not much in the way of lewt that drops from these, at least that i can tell from what research i've done. the biggest reward, other than the reward of kicking *** at an event that requires high levels of player coordination, would be the CP bonus. the 30 cap EF is reported to grant 3k CP, though your nation must gain control of the region in the next tally in order to claim your prize from the gate guard.

in additon, EF events can be scheduled to coordinate with Garrison events, which DO have a lot in the way of lewt that drops.

I could coordinate with my social ls. we have a lot of lower lvl but pretty intelligent ls members who'd love to do something like this.

that would be great teeny. When do you want to meet up and discuss it? does your LS have a forum for discussion? if not you can come to the forum in my sig or send me a /tell in game. Which ever.

Thanks,

Gob
