Worst PT you Ever HadFollow

Truthfully, I don't think that party was bad at all. Sure it started out horribly, and only because of you, sir Snake. It was REQUESTED that you spent more time debuffing rather than melee'ing, since our DDs, myself included, were providing the only damage needed. The reason, in case you may not remember, that our tank died was because you didn't debuff the mob when asked to. Why did our WHM ignore healing? To debuff, something you should've been doing, and unfortunately during that short cast time our tank got stomped and died. I've known Cel and most of the people we were with that day for quite a while, and none of us like to use the word "noob" when talking directly to another person. We, and by "we" I really mean "me", prefer degrading people using other terms and usually no profanity. The idea of Cel calling you a "noob" is just plain hilarious, it's just vocabulary that we don't use or need to use.

Another thing that strikes me as funny is the idea that you've made yourself believe that your side of the story's the only side of the story. I strongly believe there are always two sides to a story, and yes, maybe warping you away was not the BEST idea but it's been months and months and months. Shouldn't you be over it by now?

Let's remind ourselves that Cel, Kulgan, Solar and myself had all leveled jobs prior to those you partied with on that day. Therefore, the odds of a RDM/NIN who had "pimp gear", yet couldn't afford dispel, outdamaging us collectively, and even separately are quite slim. I, myself, did not have dispel at level 32 and I'm sure most red mages that didn't have a prior job leveled didn't either. However, I made it my business to farm for it and by no later than 34-36, I was able to afford it. I was quite lucky, I got a pair of leaping boots from the lizard, but I still made sure that I was able to get it no matter what I had to do.
Our linkshell parties are always great, sometimes we may need a pick-up here and there but even with them we tend to perform to our best. Maybe you should stop and ask yourself, if you were so vital to the party, how is it we were able to replace you with a bard and do 10 times better? Our bard wasn't sticking debuffs, nor was she melee'ing. But hey, I'll let you believe your side of the story since it seems you want to believe there's only one side to it, and that yours contains all the facts.

I've made sure to separate this part, since it seems you don't enjoy reading feedback all the way. Possibly for the reasons stated above, but before this turns into another paragraph and you attempt to defend yourself, allow me to point out something that'll prove my point. Man, I hate using the same word twice in a sentence. Anyway:

Dude hiddenIgloo you may be smart but not to bright, what does being 74 have anything to do with this? What does 75 have anything to do with this just because ur 75 does not mean your better than anyone just means you put more time in. Yes a rdm elvaan can hit really hard if he has great gear.

At no point in his post did Mr. Igloo try to make a point about 74 or 75 having anything to do with anything(Damn, I did it again). Aw, damn, I give up. What's the use? You can't even spell "too".

Note: My name may throw some people off, so let me state that I am Arkard. At least the last time I checked.

Context is everything, isn't it?

And why on earth are you bringing up something from that happened in the low 30s when Cel is 74 MNK now? Just now found Alla and been carrying this insane grudge for this long?

Bolded for emphasis. I mentioned that because this isn't some recent thing you just had to ***** about, that you had to start a new topic about. This had to happen a looooooooooooooo...oooooong time ago. Everybody's been wronged by someone in this game, but only the nutjobs carry the chip on their shoulder and start new topics this long after the incident, however it went down.

Hell, if there was some logical context, maybe someone ******** about the same person in a bad player's list, or good players list, or whatever, I could understand why you felt like throwing your 2 pennies in. To just randomly start a new topic about a long past incident...might I suggest getting over it, letting it go, it's over, deal with it?

When I was with Gusabora in Boyahda Tree.

I was on my BRD, and he his SMN. The stuck up little ex-whm decided my Ballad I wasn't sufficient for his "Main Heal: No thanks" self, so he had me replaced with a RDM. After the first fight.

I tell you he still has a grudge when we argued over how easy SMN was. He tried to make it out to be the hardest thing on the planet, and I told him it was easy. After he failed to prove what "Well, i'm a level 70+ WHM, I know what i'm talking about" had to do with SMN((both of our SMNs where, and are still the same level, or close. 63, and 61.)), he ran off crying like a little kid. -.-;

Of course it's hard for him, he REFUSES to main heal. Back up healing is only when he would die first if the tank dies. pfft. loser. He was even with Hoodlum when he pulled Ose with just a single party. None of them where over 60, and I told them "Ose is up, but we are NOT helping to fight him. We want EXP chains ty.".

Hoodlum then said "So? We don't need you! This is easy!" So he pulled it, and their PLD died in 3 hits. Then Gusabora did, and as I was busy LOLing at how stupid thta move was, Hoodlum /flee'd to the zone after his PT wiped. Gusabora then used that as even more fuel to flame me. lol.... the drama...

Heh, I think Aburame was your PLD during that time, heh. He told us all about it, was funny as hell to hear about it.

peace,

I had a PT with Gusabora a few days ago as well... I found his behaviour rather 'excentric', so I asked on the SMN forum if this was normal... it's not... (check the 'some questions' post, it's fairly recent)

I think he uses /WHM for status cures and Protectra II/Shellra, but he behaves like a SMN/BRD without songs. At least you don't have to Refresh him, as his MP only dips when he BPs...

Greetings from Fenrir! I just wanted to chime in on this because this sounds like a pretty heated subject. In case you haven't been posting on Allakhazam for very long, I got a couple of tips for ya. First off, never name names on here because you will almost always start up a flame war. Second, if you had such a terrible pt, why were you staying in it in the first place? I mean damn everyone's been a newb before, but even as a newb I'd realize when a pt was going nowhere. Not saying anything bad about you, this was just a bad idea for a topic.

Nah the idea of your post was a bad idea. Some of us can't be picky with invites because of the job we play, or our time schedule. Your saying this topic isn't a good idea is just silly. And get off our server forum. <.<

Rottenmonk, the subligar king of Titan here! ^_^

Just thought I would share mine. This was the last party I got before I took 2 months off the game. I was a 70drk and we were going to fight Anglers in Bibiki Bay. I get to camp and the entire party is dead. -_-

So they all raise and we begin. First off, there is a thief in the party. Drks at 66+ </3 Thief and vice versa. They tell me to solo my weaponskill. We also got 2k/hour.

Hint: If you get to camp and see your party dead, take that as a sign of things to come.
