Just wondering how it runs in your computer. Do u get lots of lag in high data areas like jueno and boyada tree pond? Let me know cuz i want to probably buy one. Got an FX5500 and lags like crap. thanks

you'd be kind of downgrading yourself with that card. ATI's equivilant to what you have would be a 9550 or a 9600 if they are available in pci format. In all honestly, all pci cards will probably lag like crap in any high data areas due to the lower bandwith available compared to PCI-E and AGP

How much RAM do you have? you should have at least 512MB. 1GB would be nice. More RAM would help out a lot with lag.

Also, you might want to turn down some of the graphics options for the game.

Sometimes you can't do anything about the lag. Just way too many people in one spot for your computer to generate, like in Jueno.

If you are getting a new card, get something with at least 128MB RAM on it and at least AGP format. If your computer supports it, PCI-Express would be even better. I haven't been keeping up to date on the video cards but you might want to check out these sites:

why does it keep truncating my link??? just gotta copy and paste...

Opps let me clarify. Reason why I ask is cuz my computer is one of those budget pcs and it only has pci slots. I have 512 ram but it still slows down. I will check out the 9600 or the 9550

You may have a tough time finding a decent card in the pci format. Almost all are agp or the newer, pci-express. Terms of lag, I had a radeon 9800xt which finally blew from my oc'ing days, and replaced with a 800xt and still get alot of lag in high traffic areas. As someone said, turning down some of the settings may help, but would really degrade the picture quite abit. Goodluck
