"No Response From Server." I'm sad.Follow

For the past two days I've been getting that gay error code.

Error code: FFXI-3001
No response from server.
Connection timed out.
Press OK to shut down.

I wonder what's wrong? My connection to everything else (internet, etc.) is just fine, and so is the connection to PoL...but for some reason after I select my character, my screen just goes black until I get this error. Anyone having the same problem?
