welp come aug itll be a year i been playing looking back i rember the dunes pt when i was a lowley war/mnk i rember the pts with gellybluntz and teebone i rember the first post on here asking for help with 2-3 and running around with a neck chopper thinking i was the shiznit i still talk to the first guy to teach me a voke macro and going to junno the first time and thinking people in af where gods i still have pics of me and hiptaru in our 40s kicking *** in a tunnel now after all this and 2 sets of af and many lss i have 2 things to say
1. how many of you have good memories of when ya was a newbie please post
2. WE MADE IT HOMIES!!!<that was for all the peeps i remeber starting out and thinking wed never make it

I was teh ubernewb. Seriously.
I started about a year ago, and Sioux first stepped into West Ronfaure as a THF.
I ran around, I killed some bunnies, I looked through the manual till I found the instruction on how to heal up. Life is good, heal up, kill bunny.
I got THF to level 7, and then moved to RDM; mostly soloed this job until level 25. I continued leveling THF, and subbed THF on RDM for most of this time.
(My reasoning was that getting hit by a mob interrupted my spell, and since I mostly soloed, I wanted the Evasion Bonus of THF to avoid the interruptions ;) Yes, I sucked ;)
I also prided myself on my skill in....archery. ><)
One day I had the bad luck to be in the Dunes when someone zoned Marchelute.
People were dying, and it was mayhem; when out of nowhere comes a RDM, in full AF.
Iron Sword dangling at my side, I watched in amazement as this RDM in this pimptastic gear SOLOED and defeated Marchelute.
Yup, I thought. This is the job for me. ^^
Good memories. I just recently got my last AF piece, and have been thinking a lot about that goofy RDM/THF smacking on Mad Sheep in Valkurm for exp.

Dude izzy, i remember my days as a noob in dunes, i ended up learning faster then warriors on pulling so i was a blm puller in dunes lol. but besides that i remember creating DOC in memory of Obsidian circle on Jan 1 2004, they gave me some of my best memories from starting the LS w/ checkme, making foresta i think the 2nd sack holder in dunes----> a bad memory of the fall of DoC... i had fun as a noob, learning how the game plays, whats impotant yada yada.... i remember seeing carbunckle the first time in S. gustaberg... i was like OMG its carbuncle,

/ wave lyi hey girl nother memory of you and me setting the record on windy drg for rank 2-3 and guess what i beat shiva prime (kinda) but man i feel for you smns at 20 fighting those guys as for not seeing me around i been taking a break due to lack of cash
We set the record for that? I remember beating it but didn't remember we set the record.
Sorry to hear about your lack of cash. That's kinda good though cause with my slow leveling it gives me a chance to catch up. I've also kinda been playing World of Warcraft with my roommate, and I'm looking to go back to school.
Congrats on Shiva. I'm going to need to beat all the summons at level 65 again so I can get the whispers and go get Fenrir. I'm not looking forward to Fenrir. The summons should be pretty easy though. The level 20 summons aren't so bad if you are prepared and do either the 3 or the 2 Searing Light method.
