Hello inhabitants of Bismarck!
I am writing this thread out of shock!
3 months ago~ I decided that i would leave Bismarck and FF11
for good, well it lasted 3 months!
Now im back, and woohaaa! has everything changed or what?!
prices are skyhigh, the lowlevel exping areas are empty?!
(wtf i was in the only party in valkurm dunes AND qufim island)
but i saw this coming really.
But what really surprised me was all the angry people, all the personal attacks, all the ******** and in general the bad "karma" of the bismarck server!
When i left i had been proud of bismarck, for beeing a nice and decent server, were ppl in general got along! But now it seems that everybody is hating someone, its like WWII out there!
I´m just wondering what happend?! wasn´t MMORPG meant to be fun? an escape from reality?! a place where one could be someone else, where RL status and looks didn´t matter?!
where is the love!? the love for final fantasy we all have?
Where is the love for friends? Where is the love for peace and joy?!
I rememberd how much fun i used to have in this game, chatting with friends, exploring and stuff! But now it seems everyone is in a **** messure competition, fighting over who has the best gear or highest level or best job/race!
Well i am shocked really, i never thought it would go this far!
Sorry if it feels like a rant or something, but it´s not, im just curious what went wrong!
Im just glad alot of my friends are still here and still sane!

Welcome to the world of MMORPG gaming.
It's my experience, just as an observer of most online games, that after the initial discovery phase, all online RPGs degenerate into this sort of thing.
However, the trick to it is to not let it get to you. There are still a LOT of good people on our server, and they are the ones that make stickin' it through worth it. Someone being an as[/b]shole? Fu[b]ck 'em. No sense in wasting your time on a waste of a person.
Of course, in the end, it's always helpful to realize that this is only a game that we play. For entertainment. If people want to make it their lives, that's their perrogative, but their attitudes should not affect your enjoyment of this game.

Hey Bsat, don't worry about all the crap going on right now, it only just started recently and I think that it will die down quickly as well. I just recently quit for good for my own personal reasons, they had nothing to do with the Bismarck atmosphere. Also, don't worry about your english, it is amazing to me that people from other countries speak/type better than most people who live in the US and England.

Sorry to hear that Dunes and Qufim are empty, I soloed my new Mithran THF to 15 and she's out there now. Looks like I'll be soloing to 20 >.<

endgame is evil man, if you do a /sea all there is now about 100+ more people on average that are level 50-75 than 1-50, it's an aging server and thus most of people are just sitting around trying to fight over who is greater. It kind of sucks really, but then you'll find most every server is like that now if you read different boards.

I have a Taru WHM that I'm trying to level in some different jobs, it's a shame to hear that she may have party trouble.
SE needs to do something to get this game going again. The expansions were ok, but you know, I've had that expansion for months...and have never even seen most of it. ><

There are no more people in the low lvl areas because I drink newb blood. This is how I stay so young! Buahahaha

No way! I went through the Dunes with ease with my NIN, rarely ever waiting, and there were always parties. IT has gotten to where if you want a party without much waiting you have to play at Japanese or U.S. Primetime, but they weren't empty at all at those times. Shoot, last night Yhoator Jungle was packed, at least 4 - 6 pt's near each main entrance.
Maybe square will up the level cap and introduce some new jobs... Mancer(s)? Blue Mage? Pirate? XD
