I just wanted to share a story from yesterday,

I was exping in the bottom of garlaige citidal (where Serket pops). So after a while about a million people showed up to camp serket i guess it was about his spawn time. we were getting about 2k an hour on bats and beetles, and as i was about to pull a beetle, when i swear to god, Serket spawns right on top of me with a yellow name.

So, i was like do i voke? lol lvl 50 sam atm. so i said to myself HELL NO lmao. unfortunatly though the gil sellers got him before the real ffxi players could. So they are fighting it and because they are noobs they end up calling for help, i'm just watching trying to exp and i'm like... "omg..." so serket is running rampant AoE'ing every person it comes near pulling hordes and hordes of of undead with it.

Even I became victim to serkets awesome power. Almost one shotted me with an AoE and actually did one shot the Taru Drg, (poor taru's). eventually can't recall who actually killed him but wtf noobs wasting a serket like that cause they suck. makes my eyes water thinking about the venomous claw that could have been reaped. Oh well, thats my story ,and i was laughing at the gil sellers for about an hour straight.

Here's what happened, in short:

-A legit LS claimed Serket, but in the process of fighting got a bat aggro on one of their members.
-Said member goes to CFH on the bat, but in the process, accidentally CFHs on Serket as well.
-Their alliance escapes/dies, while Serket chases around anyone who attacked or cured the alliance.
-Gilsellers along with other LSes chase Serket around, waiting for CFH to wear off so we can re-claim it.
-Scarge, always being the most brilliant of gilsellers, Provokes it before CFH wears. His group now must escape or die. They decide that since they now cannot kill Serket and get the drops, nobody can, so they kill Serket.
-Various people try and train the gilsellers with the surrounding undead mobs, but to no avail. Gilsellers kill Serket while it's CFH.
