Ok so your Pissed because your "High Lvl Friends" Wouldnt Drop Everything to help you? Please just Grow Up! This is a Game after all no need to take things so personally. If you let it affect you in this manner then i would step away from the game for a lil bit because your Clearly Obsessed. Is it ok to be dissappointed sure but to take it to this extreme is Childish.
"Your in an HNM you must be Rich" This line really bothers me. FOR THE LAST TIME IF YOUR IN AN HNM IT DOESNT MEAN YOUR RICH!!!!!! (unless your JWB, Triumph Earring {Can I Have It?}) In the End you loose Gil/XP being in one. But Money Does not Mean as much at this stage of the game at least to me, its all about Expieriencing the Game!!! That is why i am in AD. I have done more in the 2 months being in AD then i have the first year playing FF11.
Do you get the chance of getting Better gear then if you were not in an HNM sure you do. But Being in an HNM should be more about the Expeirience and the Comrodery then the greed. Do HNMs Hate each other? Yes and No Take Luna and AD we team up for Dynamis Weekly as well as Weekly Wyrm Fights. However we do Camp other HNMs against each other. Does it mean i Hate Luna for that No. As the Saying Goes if at first you dont Succeed Try Try Again.

Amen! ***** hnm ls's! they pretend to be your friend and then won't help you do anything at any given time! I have brought it to our LS officers attention that you believe some HNMLS rules are stupid and ridiculous.
They have assured me they are looking into the matter and will let you know the outcome after a full investigation.

If the "friend" that you asked to help you say "it's the rule" they can't come. That most likely not the main reason. The main reason probably is they don't wanna come at the first place. They use the rule just to shield them safely from not helping you without making them look bad. Seriusly, If HNM LS really is what they said that all their LS members are like "family" and "friends" they claim. Would the LS really going to kick the members who go ahead and helped a friend of theirs that the LS really don't care about or in their HNM camping schedules? I don't think so.
Also, maybe part of the reason the friends that don't wanna come is Every HNM LS has full schedule on many HNM after maintanence. HNM LS is like a company, you can't just turn your back to your HNM LS, let's say fafnir camp and go help out a friend. For example, What would the boss and your co-worker think about you when the "company" needs you but you go ahead and say "Hey, my friend needs me to go help him so i will be back later." That won't make you look good if you don't get fired at the first place. Everyone who joins HNM has something to look forward to get from the LS. Their goals just like yours Aph with joyuse, if they make themself looks bad in the LS then they are not going to get it anytime sooner. They all need to make a decision which one is more important.
The friends that didn't come help you because they don't wanna come. Rules are just words, rules don't make decisions for people, people do.

Please use intelligence, if there is any available. If you harness none of your own, ask a neighbor, friend or loved one to translate. The above "excuse" for not helping you really means:
"I don't even like this person very much, now suddenly they are asking me to stand in a room for up to/possibly 16 hours to get them a sword, how the hell do I get out of this one? Oh yeah, HNM LS excuse..."

lol the edited first thread in this says it all, power and money corrupts absolute. I lost so many friends and even an awesome ls to these evil conglomerations of greed.
Welcome to the capitalist world. Japan, EU and the USA work on the concept of the corporation, individuals dont matter the institution does. I was pissed once also to lose friends, but ppl change and move on to bigger and better things.
