New to the ServerFollow

Okay, I'm making another character named Caedo and moving to Bismarck for a while. I have another Character named Nombly on Quetzalcoatl server.

Now I'm just wondering, what are the usuals on the following things for you server:

Raise tips?
Pler Payment?
Popular Ls's?
Whm/Rdm/Smn Population? <Ex Whm Myself>
Paladin Popularity?
Dark Knight Popularity?
Thief Popularity?
Fire/Wind Crystal stack costs?
People willing to pt past lvl 30 >.< <not many on quetz>

I'm looking forwards to chilling on this server with my gf, who will be returning to it after a long while away and being refound by some of her old LS members on quetz.

Wow, PLers are frowned upon on your server? Some people get reknown across the quetz server for their Pl helping. I'll have to get used to that :p

I'm glad to hear that your Whm's do not ask for tips, In my experience as Whm, I have never asked for a tip myself, and are just happy with knowing that I helped out.

I'm sorry to hear that your Whm population is declining, We seem to have a bit of a fluctuation of Whm's on quetz every once in a while giving the lucky parties on at that time a major leveling opportunity.

And darn about the crystals, they're higher in Fire but lower on Wind. <Fire and wind going for about 4k a stack>.

I asked about the Pld, Drk, and Thf status because they seem to be the most highly played and most respected classes, with the exception of whm, on quetz server. I will personally be making an Elvaan Pld during my stay. (Caedo) ^_^

I'm also really glad to hear that there will be a fair amount of people at that lvl range, on quetz, we have roughly two parties on the whole server going on those lvl ranges at any given time, making it very hard to progress past Khazam and into the crawlers nest.

I look forward to playing here. I haven't made a new character since my very first and now that I that I know what I'm doing, I hope I wont make as many mistakes as my first run through.

I'd just like to say that I think the PLing is flamed by a lot of people because PLed parties usually learn nothing, because they don't really have to stick to their job in order to make the party going well (especially the tanks and the supports). That's IMO, though I can't blame PLers because they're nice to help people (except they're asking a fee).

Ok I understand your positions on PLing. I used to Pl only my LS members on Quetz and didn't do a very good job anyways lol.

IMO It's a lil hard to pl sometimes. I prefer to be in the party so I can see the exact amount of hp everyone has at all times, but seeing as I will be going for Either Pld/War or Drk/Thf, I won't be doing a lot of pling this round.

The only thing that sux; Is the update! I can't get on! >.<

sup sup, you raise a few good questions...

1. Raise tips.. Raise anybody you can find, people like it, but dont go too far out of your way to do it..

2. PLer Payment.. Well, we dont really like the PLer's just cause bottom line, it makes the parties lazy, and they dont know what to do when they recieve a PL.. God knows i have had my fair share of PLs pre level 10 and thats all fine and dandy, but dont waist your time doing it.. unless you get 60k per hour from the party you are helping out..

3. Popular LS's... dont know of any Popular ones.. i know that HN, {My Linkshell} welcomes new members if they dont leech from us, and have no problem gettng subjob items, or even Limit break quests done.

4. PLD popularity.. Pld are always good, good hate keepers, until the NIN start to take over with thier blink tanking, and sometimes you dont even need a PLD because some people have learned to use thier jobs as great tanks and what not.

5. WHM/RDM/SMN population.. All the high level characters of that nature have started to join all the HNMls's and stuff, but there are quite a few that have chosen the path of not going down that road and stuff.. i know i have like 2 high level RDM that have stuck with HM for a bit.. but do stuff with other LS to pass the time..

6. DRK Popularity. DRK are excellent DD, i have a friend that subs THF with DRK and does some pretty damn silly Damage, like 2k damage with one hit... just on the Orcs we find while farming Gold Orcmasks.. lol

7. Fire/wind Crystal prices.. Fire Crystal Stacks 5k.. Wind Crystal Stacks 2k i think.. not sure, i dont use Wind Crystals much, i mostly just farm or Garden my own crystals..

8. People willing to PT past 30.. I find that that is when i get the most Party invites.. alot of people are trying to get thier subs to 37, and some are thinging of new jobs to use as thier main..

So come check us out, we have alot of fun on this server, and i would be glad to have you join my LS and come up and stuff..

I'm glad everyone is so helpful. I already got the worm on an escort from Sandy to Bastok, but I wouldn't mind a lil aid when it comes time to grab the Skull... I'm sure the apron will pop at one point while I'm getting to 18. On my original character I had two fair lvl'd jobs of an exact opposite nature: Thf and Whm. I had their subs to a high enough lvl, cuz you know what they say: "subjobs are like sex, If you don't have it at 20, people will laugh at you." On that note I'll be glad to just settle down on one specific class. I have my war at 7 and monk at 4 so far, but yea.. Gimme a wave if you see me, or a /wave, Names Caedo.
