my friend and i have been doing promyvion holla runs for a little over a month now and every time we get killed... we're currently looking for a whm,rng or smn who needs the mission or just wants to help if your interested please state your name and job, please have animas or are willing to farm for some. if you dont have any or are not willing to farm im sorry but you cant join, we dont want our next attempt to be a failure like our past attempt please help thank you. we are 3,4/6 and our members are
Reizon(me): can use pld/war and war/mnk or nin(almost to lv 12)
Aidran: can go as blm/whm or rdm/blm or whm
Sirius: can go as rng/nin or war/nin
we might have another rng willing to join but were not sure :/
most of us are available on friday-sunday 9-10pst.
p.s we would also like some tips on stratagies. thank you, we would greatly appreciate your help

Ok I have only done Dem so far, but I've won both times, with same exact pt setup and same strategy. Setup was:
Pld(me)
Smn
Blm
Whm
Rng
Sam
I would always stay in back on the way up to the spire to make sure no one got seperated. The Ranger would normally go first using scan to find the Memory Recepticles. We avoided all aggro when neccessary. The Blm Rng and Smn would all attack the recepticle. Pld(me) and the Sam would keep the Stray's off everyone. The Whm would heal. The reason for the melee not attacking it, is because it uses its special attack more often when you melee(the attack that knocks you backward). We would do this the entire way up.
When we finally got to the top and entered the battlefield, we would buff and full heal. Then i would engage and tank. When the mob had 75% HP the Pld(me) would 2Hr. At 50% HP the Rng Sam and Smn would all 2Hr. this would leave the mob w/ just a sliver of HP each time we did it. Then in 2 or 3 hits it would die. Both times it worked perfectly, and both times we almost beat the record(which was from the same person both times). Not really any good drops(the earrings I mean). But hey it was easy xp. ^^

ok thanks for the tip ill talk to my friends about the idea
I started my promyvions Sunday (4-17) and finished yesterday (Monday 4-18). On Dem 1/2, Mea 1/3, and Holla 1/1 (woot)
On Promyvion-Holla my set up was:
WHM/RDM (me, /anon)
BLM/WHM
SMN/WHM
WAR/NIN
RNG/NIN
RNG/NIN
It went by so fast I could hardly remember what happened. The people in my party told me to not cast protectra or shellra because spposedly he absorbs them. The warrior used his 2HR right off and engaged. The BLM nukes, while 2 rangers fire shots at it. I cant remember what summoner was doing, I think he brought out ifrit or titan because it was fire or earthsday.
As soon as we got it to half life (more or less), the 2 rangers used eagle eye shot and the summoner used astral flow. Cant remember which order they went in, but it was enough to finish it. Please keep in mind that it was HALF LIFE.
BTW, I used the same setup for mea the 3rd time and pwned at it xD.
EDIT: OH yeah, and some of the people in my party were using hysteroanima (still dont know what it does). And make sure the mages bring Yagudo drinks + Hi-Ether potions, and rolanberry pies are always nice :D.
