Alrighty, I gotta spill this one out to the masses. My LS got a giggle out of it, so I figured you all might enjoy it too.

Being a nice spring evening, I get home from work and decide on a little BBQ. Mmmmm burgers....

I still haven't gotten round to pulling the BBQ across my still winter brown lawn to the backyard, so I open the garage and wheel the BBQ to the doorway, pop the lid and light her up.

The burgers hit the grill with a sizzle and the smell of Sirloin beef hits me... this must be heaven. Perhaps it is my euphoric state of mind that prompts what happens next.

Across the street from me is nothing but woods and ravine. I stare into the mass of trees and begin to think of summer, when out of the corner of my eye I see this familiar shape silouetted against the sky.

"Wow, the airship is goin by." O.o

*pause*

"WTF!?!?!" I then burst out laughing. The street lamp across the road is shaped like an airship. I swear to god... for half a second it WAS an airship. My wife thinks I need a break from the game, lol. I am almost inclined to think she's right... almost.

So I ask of Bismarck, when has the game popped into the real world and made you feel really daft?

When I need something from one of the other offices in my shop at work, I find myself thinking "Deadline Report, Can I have it?" or the time I was thinking provoke wasn't up when my alarm clock was going off and couldn't stop it from in my bed.

My Family decides to go visit my aunts and uncles up at a camp ground. While there I go with my consins we were back in a wooded area in the camp ground and I SWEAR the place looked like Jungar Forest O_o

I was driving home from school, and saw a Taxi (something you don't normally see in my town). So I noticed it had one of those tri-sided advertisements on its hood. So I'm sitting at this light, and the Taxi is in front, and to the right of me. I turn on my right turn signal attempting to '<t>' the Taxi so I could read the advertisment hehe. I laughed out loud literally. ^^

lol

Like 2 months ago I was talking to a buddy on the phone while we play FFXI.

Sometime's I would zone-into another area, I would stop talking >.< lol

For some weird reason I thought I wouldent be able to hear him on the phone.

Like in the game sometime's you wouldent get to see a -LS- message or a /tell..

LOL Gazoo^^

I have a horrible habit of sending people who are my friends (a good protion of wich do not play FFXI) IM messages with a /l or a /p proceeding the actual text for instance "/l hey you!" sent to one of my friends on Yahoo just yesterday. None of them have called me out on it yet.

I have also noticed that sometimes FFXI speak creeps into my actual spoken verbage. Every so often i will utter "kk" at someone as an affirmation. I have to stop myself from using the phrase "thing i disagree with. No thanks." often. For some reason the "no thanks" translation function attempts to creep into my RL conversation more than any other part of FFXI. I once almost disagreed with the owner of the company I work for by stating his opinion followed by "no thanks". I just stopped speaking. and the owner of the company jsut looked at me. It was really odd. Whne I find FFXI creeping into the RW I tend to just take a break from the game for a few days.

But other than FFXI lingo creeping into my written and spoken commmunications, FFXI doesnt show up in real Gob life. I think if it did that I would leave the game for an extended duration. But none the less this is an amusint thread to say the least. Thank OP for starting it.

So, we are watching a movie in history on the WWII era... Life is Beautiful I think wsa the title. Anyhow, the main character is eventually caught, taken into an alley, you hear gunshots, and you get the idea. A few moments later, I turn to a friend of mine who plays...

"Poor Jewish guy got aggroed by the **** and couldn't zone in time..."

The reply I get...

"At least he didn't get the link"

What losers we be, haha, it was pretty funny at the time though

The other day i was looking for something online, i'm pretty sure it was to see if the Atlas got pushed back again. So i log on, pop open my browser, and instead of going to amazon, or google it, in my browser i type "/sea all atlas". Well, i'm glad no one was around, cause i was laughing so hard at myself. I thought it was funny, other people might of thought i need to stop playing this game. ^^

Well I mentioned this a while back. A few months ago at work(while surfing FFXI info on the net)the phone in my office rang and I answered with...."This is Krack, can I help you?"
Needless to say, the customer on the other end was kinda confused but I knew the customer well and explained to him why it happened. He got a chuckle out of it after that.
